Hidden Gems: Meet William Tate of Tate Inspection Services LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to William Tate

William, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started out my construction career at 15 years old, working with a friend of my families doing flooring. My dad was a jack of all trades and believed in doing things the right way. He instilled that into me and pushed me to find what I was best at and make that my career. I worked in many trades and loved learning as much as I possibly could about each one and loved teaching it to others. Inspecting felt like the perfect move being that I can always learn more and I can teach people at the same time.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. It took a while to really get started. Networking and meeting people to help get my name out there was a task in itself. I believe in building relationships based off of trust and once I found my niche in the networking world it slowly started to get busy but bills wait for no one. I can honestly say that all that time of stress was worth it. I have come along way.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Tate Inspection Services LLC?
Well Tate is my last name and I have always been raised to take pride in that name. It just made sense. Tate Inspection Service LLC is a Home Inspection company that truly believes no one should buy a home unless they know exactly what they are buying. From the top down and everywhere in between we want to give our clients the best possible in depth report we can. We are there from purchase to warranty and even for those questions that pop up after.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Keep learning, ask questions, listen to the ones that have been doing it and are successful. Networking is you greatest tool, USE IT! I have met some amazing people that have been instrumental in helping me get my name out there. Don’t ever hand someone a card unless you have had a real conversation with them first.
