Today we’d like to introduce you to Aireann Todd.
Hi Aireann, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been an avid runner. and I love being outside. I knew I needed a change after working decades inside an office and feeling like the level of effort put in for a career that boiled down to selling ink on paper was not fulfilling my purpose. I had been doing personal training for years for my friends. It came natural. I didn’t think I was doing anything other than giving healthy tips for their goals.
I took a leap of faith to start the needed certifications for Personal Training and Nutrition Coach. That was 6 years ago.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I jumped in with both feet. It has come with expected and unexpected challenges. Although, I’ve said MANY times, I never dread a Monday morning. I absolutely love what I do.
It’s hard to walk along someone and see such progress and watch life, schedules or desires change. When they no longer see the value in putting their health as a priority. A slow quit…on themselves..
As you know, we’re big fans of New Scene Fitness. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I love what nature brings to us. I try to incorporate outdoor workouts as much as possible. It brings peace in a world where we tend to not slow down and enjoy a bird or tree.
I want to learn all I can to assist people that have injuries or imbalances.
I try to be educational and practical with the why we need to do certain exercises or how nutrition affects our overall health.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I have found the more we challenge ourselves the more authentic and inner peace//joy we feel about our health, perspective, and careers.
What’s your 20 year plan? What do you wish you could do? What holds you back from trying?
I started running Ultras and Gravel biking and have loved the challenge of doing different hard things.
