Meet Jason Adams of McMinnville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Adams.

Hi Jason, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started singing at a very early age entered and won my first talent show at around 5 years old. started playin guitar as a teenager then writing in my later teens. I have gotten to open for Bill Haley’s Comets in 2006 twice and sang with Dan Seals and Ronnie McDowell in the late 90’s. Been writing with some heros and sharing stages with some as well. I was also part of a couple radio shows one called Nashville Traditions where I got to share the stage with legend and hit writers such as Georgette Jones, Ronnie Stoneman, Keith Burns, and Gerald Smith. Later I got my own show called the Midnight Madness radio show where I brought in artist and songwriters mostly like me trying to get there music heard. and a Vinyl show where I spun records for 6 hours once a month. I have a extensive vinyl and physical music collection around 13,000 in total. Done a little travel with my music and released 2 albums in Nashville “Can’t Get No Ease” in 2013 and “Live at The Smokehouse Song’s Garth Wouldn’t Cut” in 2024

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s never smooth we all struggle with money and have to work a real job as well as work on music. I am lucky I have had opportunities that not everybody gets to get in the business as far as the people I have met. I do have some good things happening that I would like to bring into this interview but It’s not ready yet so I will hold off until it is

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a traditional County music artist. People call me the human Jukebox LOL I actually did a 4 hour show on just requests the crowd would request a song or a artist and I would attempt to play most or all of the song. As long as they stuck with Country music from the 50’s to the 90’s I was ok and some classic rock as well. Even some 50’s Doo Wap I was able to pull off

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I think its the range I have a baritone voice but a great range I can even yodel
