Today we’d like to introduce you to Hita Revilla-Kothen.
Hi Hita, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Born and raised in Barquisimeto- Venezuela.
Graduated from high school La salle institute, And have 2 degrees in administrations Bussines,
Mariried with my best friend and he gave me two amazing stepdaughters,
I started in 2019 when I came to visit my sister here in Nashville and decided to stay. Like many immigrants, I began with a job that gave me the chance to learn about the Mexican-American culture and also practice English—because when I arrived, I didn’t speak the language at all.
Later on, I had the opportunity to work on a show for a very famous Venezuelan comedian, and that opened doors for me to do what I used to do back in Venezuela: produce shows and promote businesses and events on social media. Over time, this kind and welcoming city helped me connect with different cultures and communities.
In 2023, I met my partner and decided to take a step back from shows and entertainment. Even though it’s something I’m passionate about, I wanted to experience what it’s like to have and dedicate time to a family. I looked for balance, and although I tried to be a full-time homemaker, it didn’t quite work out—I’ve always been someone deeply involved in business and networking.
Then, in July 2024, an opportunity came my way. I was scared, but I said yes—and it changed my life forever.
Attorney Matthew Hines and his wife, Gaby Bravo, gave me the opportunity to expand the 404 SOS Accidents office here in Tennessee. It was something completely new for me, but it allowed me to work from home, stay connected with my community, and also spend time with my family.
So, even though I was nervous, I said yes. Today, we’re the number one choice for accident cases in Tennessee, with a team of over 40 people.
Fanny thing About me I considered myself as a Disney adult,
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Adapting to a new country definitely comes with its challenges. A different language and culture is something I’m still trying to figure out and learning more about every day. And even though I’m happy to have a family here with my husband and my two stepdaughters, being far from my family in Venezuela is something you never really get over—you just learn to live with it.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m someone who’s passionate about social media and about connecting with the Latino community here in Tennessee. I love creating content—both for myself and for brands. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with companies like McDonald’s, L’Oréal, Maybelline, IT Cosmetics, among others.
I’m also very committed to supporting my community and local entrepreneurs.
But my full-time job is as an executive at 404 SOS Accidents here in Tennessee. In cases of car or work-related accidents, we provide guidance and support. We have a team of over 40 people ready to help.
Any big plans?
Even though I have several projects in mind, I don’t have a clear plan just yet. For now, I just want to keep focusing on expanding the company I’m currently with and continue working with more brands on social media.
