Rising Stars: Meet Corinne Lincoln and Jen Goslin of the Nash Gals Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Corinne Lincoln and Jen Goslin.

Hi Corinne and Jen, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
When people ask how The Nash Gals Group came to be, the story usually starts with two girls slinging drinks on Broadway. But the truth runs a little deeper than that.

We were waitresses—young, ambitious, and full of questions about what came next. Corinne had just stepped away from teaching. Jen was chasing a career in sports entertainment. We met while working at the same lively Nashville restaurant, bonding over bad tips, big dreams, and a shared feeling that we were made for more at only 24.

Then the pandemic hit—and like many in hospitality, we were suddenly left with nothing but time and uncertainty.

Real estate had always been in our orbit. Both of our families were immersed in it growing up. Corinne, raised by a single mom who was high up in the mortgage industry; Jen’s parents whom owned and managed rental properties. But we also saw the darker side of the business—when the 2008 housing crash hit in our childhood, both of our families lost nearly everything. The devastation wasn’t just financial; it shook our sense of stability and trust in the industry.

So when we started considering real estate, we weren’t naive. We knew the risks. We knew the volatility. For Corinne, it meant stepping into the same world that had once suddenly unraveled everything her mom had built for them—leaving them nearly homeless. And for Jen, it meant confronting the reality that her parents had worked tirelessly to build a rental portfolio their daughter could one day embody, only to lose it all in a sudden economic downturn.

But the more we talked, the more we realized something powerful: what if we could do it differently, stand apart, and survive any market condition thrown at us?

We didn’t want to be part of the problem. We wanted to become the solution.

So we dove in. We studied together, passed our licensing exams on the same day, and set out to build a business rooted in what we believed real estate should be—relational, not transactional.

From day one, The Nash Gals Group was built on honesty, transparency, and being unapologetically ourselves. We took what we learned waiting tables—how to read a room, earn trust, and create a memorable experience—and translated that into real estate. We don’t sell homes. We advocate for people during one of the biggest moments of their lives. For most, it’s the largest financial decision they’ll ever make—and we take seriously the responsibility of protecting them every step of the way.

We lead with heart, fight for our clients, and bring a little humor and humanity back into a process that too often feels cold and overwhelming. No pressure. No scripts. Just two women committed to doing things the right way. We advise our clients honestly—on market conditions, potential future financial burdens, resale value, and whether they’re truly making the right decision to buy or sell. In fact, we’ve probably steered more clients away from homes than toward them. But that’s exactly what helps us sleep at night.

Our story is one of resilience, reinvention, and rewriting the narrative of what real estate can feel like.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like most new agents, we faced our fair share of skepticism early on. It’s not easy asking someone to trust you with one of the biggest financial decisions of their life when you’re brand new to the business. We had to earn every ounce of that trust, and we’re forever grateful to the clients who gave us a chance in those early days. They allowed us to prove that, even without decades of experience, we could show up, fight for them, and deliver real results.

Another major challenge? We got licensed in the middle of the COVID market boom in 2021—one of the most competitive and chaotic markets in modern real estate history. Getting an offer accepted felt impossible at times. We had to get scrappy, creative, and strategic fast. We threw ourselves into learning every negotiation tactic under the sun and started working off-market opportunities to give our clients an edge. That experience sharpened our instincts and taught us how to navigate high-pressure situations with calm and confidence.

By 2022, once we fully leaned into our brand and stopped trying to “blend in,” everything changed. We built a presence on TikTok that allowed people to get a real sense of who we are and what it feels like to work with us. It gave future clients a front-row seat to our values, our personality, and our approach—so by the time they reached out, they already knew we were the right fit.

The road hasn’t been easy, but every obstacle pushed us to become better agents, stronger advocates, and more authentic business owners

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At The Nash Gals Group, we’re a Nashville-based realtor duo focused on creating a real estate experience that feels approachable, honest, and (dare we say) actually enjoyable.

We specialize in helping buyers, sellers, and especially those relocating to the Nashville area navigate the market with confidence. Whether it’s a first-time homebuyer or a luxury seller, our goal is always the same: advocate fiercely, communicate clearly, and create a stress-free journey from start to finish.

One of the things that truly sets us apart is the fact that we’re a duo. That means our clients get double the availability, double the perspective, and double the support—without the burnout that so many solo agents face. We pride ourselves on being responsive, proactive, and present for our clients while still protecting our own mental health, which allows us to show up fully every single day.

What we’re most proud of, though, is that we built this business from the ground up, exactly how we wanted. We turned down opportunities to join existing teams because we didn’t want to be molded into someone else’s brand. People doubted us. There were definitely eyes on us wondering if we could make it on our own. But we did it anyway—and we did it our way.

We’re known for being relatable, high-energy, and refreshingly transparent. No scripts. No sales fluff. Just two women who care deeply about making sure our clients feel understood, empowered, and protected.

We’re especially proud of the brand we’ve built—one that reflects who we are, not just what we do. Through our TikTok and other platforms, we’ve been able to give people a real glimpse into what it’s like to work with us before they ever reach out. That authenticity has allowed us to connect with our dream clients—people who value communication, trust, and a relationship-first approach.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Yes—trust your gut, even if it goes against the grain.

When we were starting out, we were constantly told to “do it the traditional way”—join a team, follow the script, blend in until you earn your stripes. But deep down, we knew that wasn’t us. We didn’t want to build someone else’s brand; we wanted to create our own.

So our advice? Don’t be afraid to do it differently. The real estate industry is full of noise, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed trying to mimic what everyone else is doing. But the truth is, authenticity beats imitation every time. People can feel when you’re being real, and that’s what builds trust. Use social media as a tool to convey your spirit and the clients will come.

We also wish we’d known sooner that it’s okay to say no. Not every lead is worth your time. Not every opportunity is aligned. Protect your energy, and surround yourself with people who respect your boundaries and your vision.

And lastly—learn how to communicate really well. Not just with clients, but with lenders, agents, inspectors—everyone. This business moves fast, and being clear, kind, and proactive in your communication will take you far.

Oh—and have fun. That part matters more than you think.
