Check Out Lavendine’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lavendine.

Hi Lavendine, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
We’ve been singing for as long as we can remember, with music woven into every part of our lives. It’s always been more than a passion—it’s an obsession. At 19, we made the decision to seriously pursue a career in music, and by 22, we had packed up and moved to Nashville. Not long after, we started writing songs and quickly realized our true calling: creating music that speaks to others and helps them through whatever they’re going through.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, the journey hasn’t been easy. We both got married later in life, largely because we were so focused on our passion and pursuit of music. Along the way, we’ve each faced significant health challenges—but those struggles have shaped us. They’ve strengthened our resilience, taught us endurance, and shown us how to keep pushing toward our goals even when life throws obstacles in the way.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What we’re most proud of is that, through the struggles and challenges, we learned to compose, produce, and craft a sound that’s entirely our own. Nothing about this journey has been easy—but that’s what pushed us to grow. What sets us apart is the unique dynamic we share: we both sing lead, we harmonize with each other seamlessly, and we’re both prolific songwriters with a deep passion for storytelling through music.

What were you like growing up?
We’ve learned to take life’s hardest moments and find the silver lining—even if that means finding a little humor in the pain. That perspective has carried us through some of our darkest days. At the heart of it all is our deep walk with Christ. Without God, we truly wouldn’t have made it. We’re also incredibly grateful for our families—our children and husbands bring us endless joy, and our parents have been unwavering in their love and support. It hasn’t always been easy for them to watch us walk through the tough seasons, but they’ve stood by us. They often tell us they’re amazed by our resilience and the journey we’ve taken to get where we are today.
