Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Eva Angelina Romero

Eva Angelina Romero shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Eva Angelina, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Lately, joy for me has come from the simple but deeply meaningful moments—being present with my family. My husband, our kids, especially our lively 3-year-old, keep me grounded and remind me of what truly matters. Whether it’s family dinners, spontaneous laughs, or quiet moments together, they fill my heart. I also find a lot of joy and clarity in movement—working out and practicing yoga and Pilates have become essential parts of my routine. They help me stay centered, energized, and connected to myself.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Eva Angelina Romero. I’m an entrepreneur, real estate broker, investor, and co-owner of Solace Oral Surgery & Implant Center in Nashville. I’ve been in real estate for over 16 years and have a deep passion for helping families build generational wealth through homeownership and investing. I also coach and mentor others—especially women and emerging entrepreneurs—who are ready to take their next step in business or real estate.

What makes my journey unique is that I’m a first-generation wealth builder. Everything I do—whether it’s scaling our oral surgery practice, coaching others, or launching new ventures—is rooted in a mission to create access, opportunity, and long-term impact for others.

Right now, I’m working on several exciting projects: I’m finishing my first book, launching new business ventures tied to real estate education and investing, and continuing to grow our existing businesses with a focus on scale and sustainability.

One initiative especially close to my heart is Project SHINE, a nonprofit we are launching to help uninsured individuals in Nashville access critical dental care. It’s our way of giving back and restoring confidence through compassionate service.

At the core of everything I do is a deep belief in the power of transformation—both personal and generational—and the idea that success means lifting others as you climb.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child—and even as a young woman—I often felt unseen, like my voice and presence didn’t matter. For many years, I carried the belief that I was invisible, powerless, and destined to stay in the shadows. Today, I no longer hold that belief. My journey, my successes, and the life I’ve built stand as proof that I am not only seen, but that I have the power to create meaningful impact. I no longer see myself as a helpless victim. Instead, I embrace my identity as a strong, resilient, and purpose.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell her: Your past does not define you. Every challenge, every hardship, and every moment of pain builds character, but none of it determines your worth or your future. What truly matters is not what happens to you, but what you choose to do with what happens. You hold the power to shape your story and create the life you deserve. If I had known that sooner, perhaps my journey would have looked different—but I honor the path I’ve walked, because it has made me who I am today.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
At the heart of everything I do is a deep commitment to impact. Whether it’s through my businesses, my team, or the communities I serve, I want to make a difference that lasts. One project especially close to my heart is launching Project Smile, a nonprofit dedicated to providing much-needed dental care to underserved communities. Alongside that, I’m focused on growing both my real estate business and our oral surgery and implant centers, because these platforms allow me to reach and support even more people.

I’m also deeply committed to finishing my book—a story of resilience, entrepreneurship, and healing—which I envision as the first in a series. My hope is that by sharing my journey, I can inspire other women to start and scale their own businesses, breaking barriers and creating generational wealth. These projects may take time, but they are all rooted in service, empowerment, and leaving a lasting legacy.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope the story people tell about me is one of impact—of how I made them feel seen, valued, and inspired. More than any accomplishments or material success, what matters most to me is the way I’ve served others and reminded them of their own power to create change. At the end of the day, life can’t just be about what you accumulate for yourself. True joy comes from giving, from lifting others, and from leaving the world a little better than you found it. If my legacy is that I lived a life of service, love, and impact, then I’ll know I fulfilled my purpose.
