Ashley, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I really wish I could give you a cool story but I just went straight to barber school after high school and picked up some clippers!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not! I’m a female in a male Industry and when I started cutting hair, female barbers were as common as they are now.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a barber, I specialize in cutting men’s hair. I’m known for my haircuts to look like they have enchantments when they don’t! I’m proud of how far Ive came along with my talent, it took me 9 years to give the haircut I give today. Quality over quality! I don’t rush my haircuts, NEVER had NEVER will!
What were you like growing up?
I always changed my hair! You will always see me with a new hairstyle, till this day. I was always grounded as a kid lol, so I really didn’t have much friends. I really started to becoming social when I moved out. I’ve always been hustler, always figured things out.
