John Ransom shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
John, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
I believe that I’m chasing my manifestation and make them to reality. Become a bridge that is connected to different lanes. In other words, be the source to many and change lives and create opportunities. Most importantly a fashion guru. Live life to the fullest and financially free . Which can allow me to take care of my family. But also allow my good fortune to blessed others. If I stop, then I believe many futures in the next generation may not be in tact.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Some call me Ransom some call me John. I’m familiar to many faces locally and globally. Well connected and willing to network and connect with more entrepreneurs, fashion models, YouTube content creation , etc. I do own a brand called “Nashville soles” which is my shoe repair store and brainstorming how to start a model leadership program once I experience my journey of fashion. I’m also into real estate so looking forward to meeting new people in the industry.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Bonds between people are broken by ego, betrayal, and distance – but restored through forgiveness, communication, and shared experiences. when forgiveness heals old wounds, communication rebuilds trust, and shared experiences rekindle love.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me humble beginnings aren’t failures, strength lies in vulnerability, and appreciation for life’s small wins.
Most importantly, suffering showed me appreciation for life’s small wins.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes the public version of me is the real me . In fact , when I was on a dating show on YouTube , people wondered was that the real me or scripted . When they finally meet me they realize I’m myself no matter what I always keep it real as they say. Always be yourself is my advice and that’s how your respect will grow around the community and media.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What are you doing today that won’t pay off for 7–10 years?
Investing in real estate , and businesses that will need time to grow and expand .
