An Inspired Chat with Lisa Panagos of California

Lisa Panagos shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Lisa, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Integrity!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Lisa Panagos. My brand shifts, and my resume and bio I can submit to you if you need it. I went through a series of robberies, so it’s been a difficult time. Also, COVID and all of the writers and SAG-AFTRA strikes haven’t helped things. I’m surviving because I am a survivor. It’s just material from life experience. I can write soon, and am currently always writing. I’m attached to several film and TV projects as an actor. writing my new record and ctrsying/producing my live show. My vision is large. It will come to fruition soon. I am confident I’m moving in the right direction, but the setbacks haven’t been easy. You sometimes have to be a boxer in this business. Take your knockouts, but always come up standing and winning. Setbacks can be good. Help you reevaluate your situation and move forward as a successful winner. I’m excited to finish my new record, get back on stage, and do another film and TV show. All is possible when you believe in yourself and put in the work. I love producing too. I’m excited for the third chapter of my career and will be working on a book soon.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
I think my Father and mentors in show business taught me about work. Watching my father succeed from being an immigrant from Greece and becoming very successful. John Panagos, with his wife, Mary Ann Panagos, who supported him every step of the way towards success. Additionally, I had numerous mentors in the show business industry who guided me. I could not have had success without them.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There were many times I almost gave up, mainly due to financial struggles. I always had an inner knowing that I can’t, a calling per se, to what I need to accomplish, write, and say. That inner knowing I was born with, my talent, and my fans always kept me on track. I’m so grateful to my fans for always loving and supporting me. It’s kept me going and still does. I love you so much!!!

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that writing, recording, and performing my music matters most, plus acting in Film and TV, and doing Broadway musicals. Also, as Cyndi Lauper says, girls just wanna have fun. So for me it’s got to be fun, non-toxic, loving, and a blast! Why else do this? The business side is so hard. I keep it fun, flirtatious, and sexy, and all of my closest friends know that makes me so happy. I love to give joy to others.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What light inside you have you been dimming?
I sometimes don’t like to admit it, but I dim a light inside of me that people can’t handle, or I get robbed or other bad things happen when I shine too bright. I’m working on my third chapter, remember? That includes shining my light as the Universe would like and never dimming it in fear of negative consequences. Some people can’t handle a bright light, but that’s their problem. Not mine.
