Exploring Life & Business with Stephanie Johnson of QT Legacy Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Johnson.

Stephanie Johnson

Hi Stephanie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey began with wishing someone had taught me more about finances so I could confidently purchase my first home to build long-term financial stability and success. Once I educated myself and took action, not only was I able to achieve my personal goals, I was able to help families nationwide do the same.

I created The Credit Cutie — a fun, approachable brand that makes learning about credit and money management simple and relatable. Then I launched QT Legacy Group as a financial education and empowerment company that helps individuals and families improve their credit, build businesses, and create a foundation for generational wealth where The Credit Cutie could thrive underneath that umbrella.

Through QT Legacy Group, I host both online and in-person financial literacy workshops like Credit & Cocktails, Wealth Talk, Homebuying Workshops, and Youth Financial Workshops. Each one is designed to make financial education engaging while building community and confidence.

I also co-founded the Boss Girls Network, a space for ambitious women to connect, collaborate, and grow together. My mission is to continue helping people strengthen their finances, elevate their lifestyles, and build legacies that last for generations.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but it’s been worth it. Entrepreneurship comes with a lot of lessons, and I’ve had to learn most of them through experience. In the beginning, one of my biggest challenges was balance — balancing being a wife, mom, and business owner while still showing up consistently for my clients and community.

There were also seasons when people didn’t fully understand what I was building or why financial literacy mattered so much. I had to push through self-doubt, slow seasons, and moments when it felt like I was doing it all alone. But each challenge helped me grow stronger as a leader and more grounded in my purpose.

Those tough times taught me patience, discipline, and the importance of faith and consistency. Now, I look back and realize every obstacle was preparing me to lead with more wisdom and grace — and to help others do the same.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about QT Legacy Group?
