Hi Crowd, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
About CrowdKit
I started CrowdKit during the pandemic with a vision to create the world’s first global, community-driven sample kit business. From the very beginning, the goal was simple — to connect producers and sound creators from all over the world and build something truly collaborative.
I launched the project alongside my good friend Twitchy Soundz from Nigeria. Together, we built everything from the ground up. He produced original beats, and I contributed my own productions — later reverse-engineering and chopping them into usable samples for our growing collection. These samples were curated, leveled, and refined to ensure they were fully production-ready before being released, often for free, on our website: www.crowdkit.weebly.com

As my main artist brand, iamtonydomingo, continued to grow, I decided to merge the two worlds — using my music platform to help promote CrowdKit and expand its reach. Many of the beats I created found a home in both projects, blurring the line between artist and producer community.
Since then, I’ve continued to develop new music, build connections with producers across the globe, and grow the CrowdKit catalog into a space where creativity knows no borders.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The Journey and Challenges
At one point, we found ourselves scrambling to keep everything together after our main editor and graphic designer had to step away due to personal circumstances. It was a difficult moment — I suddenly had to take on even more responsibilities while trying to keep the vision of CrowdKit alive. Progress slowed, but we managed to keep things moving forward.
Then, two years later, we faced an even bigger setback. My partner and co-founder, Twitchy Soundz, went through some serious challenges and lost everything — his computer, his setup, his ability to produce. Losing him as an active collaborator was incredibly tough, and for a while, I truly thought that might be the end of it.
Still, I refused to let CrowdKit fade away. Even though things have slowed down and much of my focus has shifted toward my artist page, iamtonydomingo, I’ve kept the project alive — one step at a time.
Right now, it’s just me holding it all together. I’m continuing to create and release more samples whenever I can, and I’m open to collaborating with anyone who shares the same passion for global creativity and sound design. All I ask is for patience and understanding — because while the dream hasn’t changed, the journey is being carried forward by one person doing it all.

Over the years, I’ve taken on nearly every role needed to keep both CrowdKit and iamtonydomingo running. From music production and sound design to marketing and branding, I’ve built each project from the ground up — learning, adapting, and pushing forward through every challenge.
Creating music videos and handling the full editing process has become a top priority, alongside designing logos and graphics for both brands. I also manage the merchandising side — creating and selling T-shirts and other custom items through Etsy.
In many ways, I’ve become a one-man army. I handle everything: making the beats, crafting the samples, writing and recording the songs, engineering the mix and master, promoting and advertising the music, filming and editing videos, creating visuals and graphics, managing social media, distributing to major streaming platforms, publishing, and even producing merch. Then the entire process starts all over again.
Every step is driven by passion, dedication, and a belief that creativity has no limits when you’re willing to do the work yourself.

My Connection to Music
Music, to me, is more than sound — it’s a message I can deliver with my voice. Every song is a chance to communicate something deeper, something real. I’m passionate about how a single beat can move a person to feel the full spectrum of emotion — joy, pain, peace, and power — all at once.
I love music beyond the surface-level reasons. It’s not just about rhythm or melody; it’s about connection, storytelling, and emotion. It’s the universal language that brings people together, and it’s the one thing that continues to drive everything I do.
