Community Highlights: Meet Jacqueline Becker of Bee Mobile Physical Therapy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqueline Becker.

Hi Jacqueline, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started because I saw a need! I was working Home Health Physical Therapy since 2018, where I would see patients in their home that are home bound or post hospital. Generally, if the patient improved and was no longer considered home bound, they would attend Outpatient therapy at a clinic. When Covid started, patients were hesitant to attend therapy at a clinic, so Bee Mobile Physical Therapy was born. I deliver one-on-one specialized care to patients in their home. I bring the clinic with me to their home to deliver the same care they would receive in an office. From their, i started to see busy parents during nap time, or working people on their lunch hours. Anyone can qualify that would prefer their care in the privacy of their home.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Luckily for me, it has been a overall smooth ride except for the dealing with medicare hoops. I have had a fare share of issues with billing for my Medicare patients, which has put a few bumps and mountains in the road.

As you know, we’re big fans of Bee Mobile Physical Therapy. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Bee Mobile Physical Therapy is a mobile therapy practice that brings one – on -one, specialized physical therapy care to people in the privacy of their own home.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
What has worked the best for me in business is patient referrals. Once you have the business relationships built through networking and community events, patient referrals are the best type of referrals. When a patient goes back to their Doctor, and spread the word about my care, and physicians take it to heart and send more patients.
