Hidden Gems: Meet Brooklin Graves of Brooklin Graves Realtor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooklin Graves.

Hi Brooklin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Brooklin Graves, and I’m a 25-year-old real estate agent with Benchmark Realty, proudly serving Middle Tennessee. I’ve lived in Mount Juliet nearly my entire life. My family moved here when I was five, and I instantly fell in love with the community. It’s truly home, and I don’t ever plan on leaving.
I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and we share our home with our two sweet pups who keep life fun and full of energy. I graduated from Cumberland University with a degree in Business and got my real estate license at 21. From the moment I started in this career, I knew it was exactly where I was meant to be
When I first entered real estate, I joined a team as a buyer’s agent, which allowed me to gain hands-on experience with contracts and work closely with a wide variety of clients. I learned so much during that time, but eventually realized I wanted to take the leap and build my own business. Going out on my own was one of the hardest but most rewarding decisions I’ve ever made.
Today, I focus most of my business on Instagram (@brooklingravesrealtor), where I share lifestyle content and home tours that give people a real feel for life in Middle Tennessee. I love connecting with others through social media because it’s such a fun and creative way to build relationships and showcase the beauty of our area.
I’m so thankful for the support I’ve received from my family, friends, and clients along the way. This journey has taught me that the best things in life often come from doing hard things and believing in yourself. You only get one life to live, so you might as well make it one you love.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t always been smooth. Starting a real estate career at a young age meant I had to prove myself in an industry full of experienced professionals. Building confidence, learning to handle rejection, and trusting the process were all challenges early on. Going out on my own after being part of a team was also scary because it came with a lot of uncertainty.
But each obstacle taught me something valuable, and those lessons have shaped me into a stronger, more independent agent. I’ve learned that the best things in life come with hard work and dedication. Success doesn’t happen overnight, but if you stay consistent, believe in yourself, and keep pushing forward, the results are always worth it.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in helping buyers and sellers across Middle Tennessee, especially families and first-time homebuyers looking to plant roots in our amazing communities. I’m known for being personable, honest, and truly invested in my clients. I treat every transaction like it’s my own home and take the time to make sure each client feels supported, informed, and cared for throughout the process.
What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me. Real estate is so much more than just helping people buy or sell a house. It’s about guiding them through one of the biggest decisions of their lives. What sets me apart is my genuine passion for people and for showcasing the lifestyle we’re able to create here in Tennessee. I take pride in making every experience smooth, exciting, and memorable.
I also focus a lot of my business on Instagram (@brooklingravesrealtor), where I share home tours, real estate insights, and everyday life around Mount Juliet. I’ve learned that social media is a powerful way to help relocation clients feel connected to the area and get a true sense of what living in Middle Tennessee has to offer. My goal is always to make people feel at home here, even before they move.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something most people don’t know about me is that I never planned on becoming a real estate agent. My mom and I used to watch HGTV all the time, but I always thought I’d become a nurse or work with children. It wasn’t until my parents sold their home that I got to see the real estate process up close, and I was hooked. I loved the idea of being part of such a meaningful moment in people’s lives, so I decided to get my license.
My husband and I also bought our own home a little over a year ago, and that experience reminded me just how exciting and nerve-racking the process can be. It gave me an even deeper understanding of what my clients go through, and it helps me relate to them on a personal level.
Now, my favorite part of this career is the personal connections I get to build. Every closing day feels emotional and usually ends with hugs and happy tears. Being able to play a role in helping people reach their goals and start new chapters is something I’ll never take for granted.
