Today we’d like to introduce you to Senika Lenise.
Hi Senika, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Honestly, my story didn’t start with a business plan or a big “aha” moment . it started with serving people. I’ve always had this deep pull to make people feel seen, cared for and valued, whether I was working in customer service, ministry, dance, or just being the go-to problem solver in my family. I didn’t know it had a name back then, but what I was really doing was building experiences, creating moments that leave people better than I found them.
Life wasn’t always pretty in the process. I’ve had seasons where I was overworked, overlooked, and honestly unsure if what I carried really mattered. But those same seasons forced me to pay attention to patterns, to people, to purpose. I started realizing that service is more than a job skill. it’s ministry… and excellence is worship.
That’s where Sclusive was born… not from entrepreneurship hype, but from a conviction that we can serve with excellence, creativity, and heart, all at the same time. Sclusive Solutions grew out of my love for service and customer experience. Then came Sclusive Studios… the creative side of me that dances, choreographs, worships through movement, and believes God can live in the rhythm too.
Nothing about my journey has been linear. I built while healing, raised my kids while creating, and learned to trust God in the in-between. But every “no,” every setback, every quiet room where I questioned if I was qualified … it all pushed me deeper into purpose.
So here I am now.. still serving, still creating, still becoming. I don’t have it all figured out, but I know this for sure: impact doesn’t start on a big stage. It starts with who you are when nobody’s watching, how you treat people, and how obedient you are to what God put in your hands.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Smooth road? Whew!!! I wish. The journey has been beautiful, but definitely not seamless.
There were seasons where I was juggling motherhood, working full-time, building a vision on the side, and still trying to show up for everybody. I’ve had moments where I felt unseen, undervalued, and misunderstood—especially when your purpose doesn’t fit into a traditional box people are used to. It’s hard building something that doesn’t have a blueprint.
Finances were tight. Support wasn’t always loud. And as much as I love serving others, I had to learn how to serve myself too—rest, boundaries, healing. There were also silent battles… fighting self-doubt, perfectionism, and that voice that says, “Are you really called to do this?”
But I’ll say this…every obstacle shaped my obedience. The closed doors taught me redirection, not failure. The slow seasons taught me patience and preparation. The hard days taught me how to build with God, not just for God.
So no, it hasn’t been smooth, but it’s been purposeful. And I’d take purpose over easy any day.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At the heart of everything I do, I serve people. I’m an Experience Architect, which is just a fancy way of saying I design how people feel cared for, seen, and valued. Through my company, Sclusive Solutions, I help businesses, ministries, and leaders elevate the way they serve…from customer service and communication, to culture, hospitality and overall experience. I specialize in turning “just doing a job” into creating impact.
On the creative side, I founded Sclusive Studios, where faith, movement, music and storytelling live together. That includes things like worship-based dance fitness, choreography, and creating artistic spaces for people to express their faith and their story through movement. I believe service can look like training a team, but it can also look like dancing in freedom before God.
What I’m most proud of isn’t a title or a project. it’s that I never detached service from purpose. I’m known for making people feel seen, for paying attention to details that most people overlook, and creating atmospheres that feel like home even in professional spaces. Whether I’m training a team, teaching a class, or curating an experience, I lead with heart, holiness and excellence.
What sets me apart is that I don’t separate ministry, creativity, and professionalism. I bring all of me into every room…faith, strategy, structure, empathy, and art. I don’t just fix broken systems. I heal the way people experience them.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that obedience is more important than perfection. For a long time, I thought I had to have every detail figured out, every plan polished, every fear gone before I started. But God keeps reminding me,He doesn’t need perfection; He wants my yes.
I’ve learned that purpose doesn’t wait until you feel ready. It shows up in small steps, quiet rooms, uncomfortable growth, and sometimes in assignments that feel bigger than you. But when you move anyway(scared, unsure, but obedient) God meets you there.
I’ve also learned that service starts with identity. When you know who you are and Who you’re doing it for, you stop chasing applause and start pursuing impact. Every room I walk into now, I ask: How can I serve here? How can I make this better than I found it?
So the most important lessons? Obedience over perfection. Purpose over popularity. And service is never small when it’s done with heart.
