Today we’d like to introduce you to Averianna Patton.
Hi Averianna, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Averianna The Personality — The Voice of Cashville
Born and bred in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, Paige’s story started with rhythm in her feet and dreams on stage. Gifted in tap, ballet, jazz, and hip-hop, she once envisioned herself lighting up Broadway. But when college came calling, her spotlight shifted from center stage to the newsroom.
That’s where Averianna The Personality was born — a natural storyteller with a voice built for connection. From anchoring the news at MT10 to hitting the sidelines as a sports reporter at MTSU, Averianna quickly made her mark. Her charisma and hustle opened doors to red carpets, celebrity interviews, and opportunities to work alongside icons like Kellie Pickler, Shannon Sanders, Juvenile just to name a few.
Today, Averianna has grown into one of Nashville’s most recognized media figures — a powerhouse executive producer, entrepreneur, and cultural voice for her city. Known proudly as “The Voice of Cashville,” she uses her platforms to spotlight local stories and amplify the sound of the South.
She hosts the hit podcast The Voice of Cashville, where Nashville’s hip-hop and R&B artists pull up to share their journeys, and she brings her signature flair to television with ATP’s Music City Check-In.
From the dance floor to the mic, Averianna The Personality continues to move the culture — one story, one sound, and one voice at a time.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road, at 19 I was on the Red carpets BET Awards, BET Hip-Hop Awards, GRAMMYS, BET Soul Train Awards. After college at MTSU I moved to L.A and hit the ground running ended up working on sets like the Real, Dr.Phil, BeatShazam, family feud, Steve Harvey Show, the Voice just so many shows. Then moved back home to Nashville and wanted to bring everything I saw and learned in LA to Nashville. I spent all my 20 hitting the ground hard and running a lot of things I see people doing today in media I’ve done and at some point, the hustle and bustle became not fun — I outgrew the environment. I want to be in spaces where I’m welcomed and not running around hiding from people trying to stay Around, but my last 10 years speaks for itself, awards, country radio 96.7 FM Yoco, iheart 101.1 FM Hiphop radio — the first Nashville native ever to hit the mic, brought Nashville Hiphop to Broadway, held 3 Hiphop shows in downtown Broadway at the historic National Museum of African American Music, I worked at the museum as well as the community engagement manager — a created position might I add. (Your gift will make room) , hit over 100k streams with my Strickly4theLadies Vol.4 Mixtape, shedded light and gave a voice to the ladies of Hip-Hop in Nashville, created and produced 2 tv shows ATP Music City Check-In and Blacker the Berry Game Show, and my own radio and podcast show the voice of Cashville Radio! Now, im 30 and im just in a different space when it comes to media. Im happy to be back on Streetz 99.3 and ready to do what I do best WORK!
We’ve been impressed with Averianna The Personality, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a radio and TV personality, an executive producer, and a proud Music City girl holding it down for Nashville and our hip-hop scene. Everything I do is for my city — the stories, the sound, and the culture that raised me. The name speaks for itself… and best believe, it’s a female running it.
I built my platform from the ground up — no major company backing, just faith, consistency, and community. And I’m proud of how far it’s come. God told me He would make my name great — and now I understand, it was never about me trying to make it happen. It was His plan all along. He gave me the name Averianna The Personality — crafted, chosen, and purposed.
I am on the radio Streetz 99.3 download the free app today — I offer a platform of interviews and social media content services – hit me up! @averiannathepersonality | www.averiannathepersonality.com
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t move off luck — I move off God. It’s always been Him guiding me, showing me the path, even when I didn’t fully see it. Every win, every lesson, every “right place, right time” moment — that’s all Him.
I’m just grateful to be in alignment today, walking where He wants me to walk, feeling and seeing His hand on it all.
