Meet Agam Saigal of Menscape Nashville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Agam Saigal.

Hi Agam, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I never planned on running a men’s spa. My background was in strategy and marketing, and like a lot of men, I hit my early 30s feeling burnt out while also noticing changes in my skin and body that I didn’t really know how to take care of. When I moved from Philly to Nashville right before the pandemic, I became more aware of how few comfortable, judgment-free places there were for men to get grooming or skin care.

That gap is what led to Menscape Nashville. We opened in 2021 with one mission: create a space built specifically for men, one that feels relaxed, and unintimidating, more like a modern speakeasy than a traditional spa. Here, guys can get waxing, facials, body grooming, and massage from licensed professionals who understand their needs.

What started as an idea about confidence and comfort has grown into a full-service men’s spa serving thousands across Nashville. Today we’re known for our tip-free model, skilled team, and an environment that makes even first-timers feel at ease. As we continue expanding into a larger space, our mission stays the same: help men feel good in their own skin and make men’s wellness genuinely accessible.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. Launching something unique comes with its own set of challenges. When we opened, there wasn’t another men’s spa in Nashville that offered what we do, so we had to carve out our own lane. Finding estheticians willing to specialize in men’s services wasn’t easy, especially during a time when people were hesitant to change jobs or try something new.

There were operational hurdles too: navigating regulations, securing our location, and figuring out how to introduce an entirely different kind of grooming experience to men who had never stepped foot inside a spa. A lot of our earliest clients were first-timers, so every service had to feel comfortable, discreet, and approachable, more like a speakeasy escape than a typical salon.

The road hasn’t been smooth, but it’s been worth it. Those challenges helped us build a stronger foundation and a more intentional experience.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Menscape Nashville?
Menscape Nashville is a men’s spa created around a simple idea: grooming, skincare, and wellness should feel comfortable, modern, and built specifically for men. We specialize in men’s waxing, facials, body grooming, skincare, and massage, all performed by licensed professionals who understand how to work with men’s skin, hair, and concerns.

What sets us apart is the experience itself. Menscape feels more like a modern speakeasy than a traditional spa. It’s relaxed, warm, and unintimidating, which matters for men who may be trying services like waxing or skin care for the first time and want a space that’s easy to settle into.

We’re also Nashville’s only tip-free grooming establishment, something we’re proud of because it creates a cleaner, more honest experience for both clients and staff. No awkwardness, no pressure, just straightforward service.

Brand-wise, we’re most proud of the trust we’ve built. Thousands of men, from teenagers to touring musicians, executives, athletes, and everyday dads, choose us because they know they’ll be treated with respect and real expertise. Whether someone comes in for a facial, full body grooming, or a simple cleanup, the goal is always the same: make men feel comfortable, confident, and well taken care of. Every single one of our reviews was never incentivized or paid for. Our clients actually went out of there way to inform others about their experience. I believe that’s REAL trust building and authenticity.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What I like best about Nashville is the sense of community and openness. After living in larger cities, I really appreciate the authenticity here. There’s a genuine Southern hospitality that rubs off on everyone, even those who move in from out of town. Nashville runs like a big city that still feels interconnected, where people look out for one another and are willing to support new ideas. That welcoming energy made it possible for a concept like Menscape to take root.

What I like least is that the rapid growth can sometimes outpace the city’s infrastructure. Traffic, zoning challenges, and the availability of commercial space can make things difficult for small businesses. But even with those challenges, Nashville remains one of the most supportive and exciting places to build something meaningful.
