Hi, I’m Haley, the founder of Nashville Candle Rentals. Originally from California, I started my journey in 2022 with my mom through SoCal Candle Rentals. Realizing the potential of my business, I moved to Nashville to bring stunning, customizable candles to the area. With a background in marketing and a passion for design, I’m dedicated to creating the perfect ambiance for your special day, and I take pride in offering eco-friendly candle rentals that align with my love for aesthetics and sustainability.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all. Nashville Candle Rentals started as a tiny operation out of my one bedroom apartment, and growing it into what it is today has taken a lot of grit and learning. In the beginning I was doing everything myself. Marketing, proposals, cleaning candles, delivering orders, striking events and keeping up with inventory. I had no warehouse, no systems, and no team. Just a vision and a lot of late nights.
As the business grew, so did the challenges. Balancing a full time job with the demands of a rapidly growing company was exhausting. Managing hundreds of candles per event from an apartment pushed me to get creative with storage and operations. I also had to learn the industry from the ground up. How planners think, how to price correctly, how to hire and trust people, how to build processes so the business could scale.
There were moments when it felt overwhelming, but each challenge pushed me to refine the way we operate. Today we have a warehouse, structured workflows, a team to support events, and a much stronger foundation. The struggles shaped Nashville Candle Rentals into the company it is now and showed me that you really can do hard things.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I run Nashville Candle Rentals, a luxury candle rental company that serves weddings and events across Middle Tennessee. I specialize in creating elevated candlelit designs using granulated wax candles, taper candles with hurricane sleeves, floating candles, votives, candelabras and large scale candle installations. My goal is to take something as simple as candlelight and turn it into an unforgettable experience for every guest in the room.
I am known for the level of detail that goes into each event. I come from a design and marketing background, so I am always thinking through how the space will feel, how the candles will photograph and how the pieces will work together to support the planner’s or florist’s vision. Every layout is intentional and every setup is done by hand with care.
What I am most proud of is how far the business has grown in a short amount of time. It started as a small side project in a tiny apartment with a few hundred candles, and today we operate out of a warehouse with over eight hundred candles and a team that supports events every week. Seeing planners, florists and couples trust us with such important moments is incredibly rewarding.

What I love most about Nashville is the community. People here genuinely want to support one another. The wedding and event industry especially feels collaborative rather than competitive. Planners, florists and vendors lift each other up, share connections and celebrate each other’s wins. There is also a creative energy in this city that is hard to find anywhere else. It is a place where small ideas can grow into real opportunities.
