Hi KJ , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started performing at a young age , whether that was dance, acting, gymnastics , singing, cheerleading , karate , ice skating.
I always found a joy for moving my body, working hard, and ultimately making people feel an emotion from watching me do what I love. That has all brought me where I am today, a professional dancer, and artist in a new pop girl group “LUX”
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely has not been smooth, I had to overcome my own internal hardships before I really felt a shift in my mind and body. I had to find my confidence and know where it rooted from & to always feel connected to that feeling I know it is in-beaded in me. I overcame the feeling of self doubt & that has really shifted everything for me.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I work as a professional dancer in a new show in Las Vegas, partnered with Universal. I’m known for my determination & inclusive spirit. I’m most proud of my heart & morals & standing up for & believing in myself & my dream everyday. What sets me apart from others is that I haven’t needed the validation to keep going, it was my own dreams that drives me & not the opinions of others to drive me away. I also debuted in a new girl group, LUX this summer & it has been an amazing journey so far , and this new venture is something I’m also really proud of.
What does success mean to you?
I define success by how happy you are. Success to me doesn’t exactly equal money but how you feel about the road taken to said success & how you can share the wealth & be a leader in your community.
