Meet Bryan Majors of Clarksville Tennessee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryan Majors.

Hi Bryan , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I want to start off by saying Thank You to my support system who have assisted in more instances than one God first and foremost, My beautiful wife, my father and mother and My two brothers all which have supported me through this journey. My story started as early as sophomore year in 2006. I didn’t quite know exactly where it would lead to but I found Myself very interested in creating affordable fashionable clothing. I can remember times me and a group of good friends going to Walmart to buy paint, painting t-shirts and shoes and often times getting a lot of praise at school for our designs. My passion grew for designing from my most vivid childhood memory of my father drawing an army tank on a piece of paper him being in the army I knew that reference very well, unknowingly he was the true beginning of my artistic journey I’ve held on to that moment. I’d like to thank my mother for teaching me how to make a lot with very little look great from times of going school shopping and really showing my how to coordinate colors, and get as much as I bargained for when it comes spending. Auditing for the military so many years in the military really helped her guide me and my two brothers in the right direction financially when it came to spending. I got my first opportunity at 17 witch it was only one day. A family member of mine owned a clothing store called one stop this is where my I made my first sell of a retail item even though they weren’t my design I fell in love with the nature of the business I have them to thank for that. All though through out the span of most of my 20’s I spent most of my time being more of a consumer and not a producer. With the shock wave of doors closing due to Covid I took what I felt would be the huge leap of faith, and created my clothing brand “LABL”which stands for Live A Beautiful Life

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’m no stranger to adversity. In 2010 I suffered A life threatening visit to the Emergency room for blood loss, my hemoglobin had dropped all the way to a 2 where the average male has between 13-17, you need 4 for life to function. With pivotal moment in my life I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis I can only thank the most high that I’m alive to tell this story. At that moment I knew I wanted more out of life that I wanted to leave an impact not only for my family but for my community as well. After 10 years of my health and overall well being, have been so impacted by illness I finally decided to take the leap of faith and create my clothing brand “LABL” which stands for Live A Beautiful Life. I felt at one point that opportunity would be taken away from me through years of fighting, praying and resilience to never give up I was assisted by my wonderful wife. My wife stood by my side not only helping nurse me back to good health but to also help what was once a dream become a true reality.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?

I’m known here in my community for providing comfortable yet affordable and up to date stylish and appealing clothing to the urban culture, we also emphasize on giving back each year we’ve been open we’ve had countless give aways and one sponsorship for a highschool basketball team. What I can say I’m most proud of is that I took something from my imagination that once seemed impossible and made it a reality. What sets me apart from others is that I design and produce all my clothing from fabrics to stitching, printing and pressing I do it all. My brand also gives consumers the opportunity to customize colors at immediate request through email. What ever matches your mood or event we can make it happen

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I can say yes I’m a huge fan of Jason Wilson I listen to majority of his interviews and podcast appearances because hearing his insights and views on how to approach many situations is always a good thing for me. I plan to read his most recent book The Man the moment demands.
