Hidden Gems: Meet Dylan Bond of Bond plumbing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dylan Bond.

Hi Dylan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Growing up in a single family home i wanted to be the first to complete college, while attending college at University of Tennessee-Martin. My mother got diagnosed with multi sclerosis, causing me to have to go home to help. I got a job at a local plumbing company and learned the trade. After seeing how much they were over charging customer and were only out for money i decided to start my own business helping people who couldn’t afford the big name businesses. I take pride in being able to help people and fix their issues

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being a one man show it is very stressful, still working a full time job trying to make a living while trying to balance staying my own company. Having a newborn baby and trying to spend time with family has made it difficult to continue.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
At bond plumbing we specialize in water heater replacement, water filtration, water leaks, and plumbing repairs. I think the thing that sets us apart from others the most would be our customer are family and we strive to make everyone happy with quick and efficient work.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love the different options our city offers weather it be food, activities, or recreational events. I wish the traffic in our city could be better but with the amount of growth in such a short time it’s understandable
