Hi Flower Girls Floral Design, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Our story actually begins when we were college roommates! We never dreamed then that we would have a successful floral business, but life is funny sometimes. We started Flower Girls Floral Design in 2018. Jenny was in the wedding industry as a planner and decided to take a step back from that and focus on florals, Courtney has a background in agriculture, so it was a perfect match! We started with clients Jenny was doing planning with and then gradually from word of mouth and advertising we grew into the business that we have today.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Ultimately, we feel like we’ve had a pretty smooth road as we have grown. Through the years, we have learned to balance our family life with wedding seasons so that we feel we are giving our best to both. It took some time for us to figure that out!

We are event floral designers that work hand-in-hand with our couples and their planners, shaping their ideas into a cohesive design through intentional choices in color, florals, and every meaningful detail. We take a lot of pride in the fact that we are intentional about every flower and foraged detail that goes into our designs. By sourcing unique ingredients and incorporating natural texture, we create pieces that feel personal, textural, and unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere.
