Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebekah Miranda.
Hi Rebekah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The Femme Fair really started with our friendship. We have known each other since junior high, and over the years our lives evolved in a lot of the same ways with our busy careers, motherhood, and eventually both finding ourselves in Tennessee.
As we built businesses and got connected locally, we kept seeing the same thing, so many talented women and small business owners, but not always a space that felt elevated, supportive, and genuinely community-driven.
So we decided to create it.
The Femme Fair was built on the idea that women don’t have to compete to succeed. We can create something beautiful by supporting each other. What started as a simple idea has grown into vendor events, networking opportunities, and a space where women can show up, be seen, and grow their businesses in a meaningful way.
At the end of the day, what we bring is more than an event. We hope you find community and support that we are really proud to be a part of.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Starting The Femme Fair has required a lot of trust, adaptability, and learning as we went.
One of our biggest challenges has been building something from the ground up while balancing full-time responsibilities. From securing vendors and managing logistics to marketing and creating a consistent brand experience, there were moments where everything felt like it needed attention at once.
Another challenge was ensuring we created a space that felt elevated and intentional. That meant being very selective, setting clear expectations, and sometimes having to make tough decisions to protect the quality of the experience.
We’ve learned to stay flexible, lean into our strengths, and continuously refine our process. Each event has gotten stronger because of those early challenges, and it’s helped us build something that truly stands out and resonates with our community.
We’ve been impressed with The Femme Fair Events, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Femme Fair is a curated event and community platform designed to elevate and support women-owned and local businesses.
We specialize in creating intentional, beautifully designed vendor markets and networking experiences that go beyond the typical “pop-up.” Every event is thoughtfully planned to ensure variety, quality, and a cohesive experience for both vendors and attendees. We focus heavily on connection and creating an environment where women feel supported, seen, and inspired.
What sets us apart is our attention to detail and our commitment to community over competition. We limit vendor categories, prioritize brand alignment, and create a space that feels elevated, welcoming, and genuinely collaborative.
A major milestone for us has been establishing our permanent space, Creekside Reserve, which now serves as The Femme Fair’s headquarters. This allows us to host events in a consistent, beautifully designed setting while continuing to grow our community and expand our offerings.
In addition to our vendor events, we host networking gatherings that bring together entrepreneurs, creatives, and professionals to build meaningful relationships and grow their businesses.
What we’re most proud of is the community we’re building. The Femme Fair is quickly becoming a trusted space where women show up for each other, support local businesses, and grow together.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
We are very comfortable taking intentional risks. Moving across the country and starting over while building our careers and launching The Femme Fair was a major leap. We didn’t have a guaranteed audience. But, we did have a clear vision of what was missing and the confidence to create it.
Establishing Creekside Reserve as our permanent space was another big step. It allowed us to move from pop-up events to something more elevated and long-term. It required trusting our growth and committing to that next level.
We believe the risk will produce great rewards if we stay strategic, trust our gut and be willing to step outside our comfort zone to build something meaningful.
