Check Out Logan Hood’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Logan Hood.

Hi Logan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
For some, hospitality is just a job. For others, it is a birthright. Born and raised just outside the neon glow of Nashville, I initially set my sights on a nursing career at Western Kentucky University. However, life has a funny way of steering you toward where you truly belong. A mentor and close family friend saw it before I did, telling me early on that I was simply ‘made for hospitality.’

He wasn’t wrong.

I eventually traded the stethoscope for a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on Organization and Communications with a minor in Meeting and Event Planning. Those studies became the literal building blocks of my career. After honing my craft across three of Nashville’s premier hotels, I realized my passion went far beyond booking rooms. It was about the magic of the ‘special experience,’ and I wanted to be the person who transformed a trip to Music City into a lifelong memory.

That drive led me to my current role as Sales Manager for the Nashville Tour Company. Today, I have the privilege of representing a portfolio that captures every side of this city: the high-energy pulse of the Nashville Pedal Tavern, the sophisticated touch of Bevē Curated, the serene escape of Deer Haven Lodge, and the scenic views of Nashville Toons.

I may not have ended up in healthcare, but in a way, I am still taking care of people, one unforgettable Nashville experience at a time.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road hasn’t always been smooth. For a while, I really struggled with professional fulfillment, reaching a point in my hotel career where the work no longer felt rewarding. I knew I loved the industry, but I was missing a sense of purpose and variety in my day-to-day life.

Everything changed when I found a listing for my current role. Honestly, it sounded too good to be true at the time. Since joining The Nashville Tour Company, I’ve finally found the fast-paced, dynamic environment I was craving. No two days are ever the same, and that is exactly why I love it.

On any given day, I might be meticulously planning a custom itinerary through Bevē Curated and recommending my favorite local hotels, or I could be out on a Pedal Tavern in the afternoon showing our partners a great time. Other days are spent getting corporate groups out on the water with Nashville Toons or coordinating high-end retreats at Deer Haven Lodge. That period of feeling unfulfilled was actually just a stepping stone. It led me to a career that is as vibrant and multifaceted as Nashville itself.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
In my role as Sales Manager for the Nashville Tour Company, I specialize in designing and managing high-end, custom experiences across Music City. My portfolio is incredibly diverse, covering everything from large-scale outdoor tours and private boat charters to luxury lodging.

What sets me apart is the fact that I was born and raised right here. That lifelong local perspective, combined with my professional background in Meeting and Event Planning and my years in the Nashville hotel industry, gives me a unique advantage. I truly understand the complex logistics and the high standards required for everything from corporate functions to social events.

I am most proud of the impact I have on my guests. There is nothing better than seeing a client’s reaction during an event or hearing that they had the best time of their lives on one of our experiences. Knowing that I used my local expertise to make their trip unforgettable is the most rewarding part of what I do.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is the attention to detail. Whether I am planning a large-scale corporate retreat or a private social outing, I believe the small details are what truly define a guest’s experience. My goal is to ensure that absolutely nothing is missed during the planning process so that our guests can simply show up and enjoy the moment.

To me, a successful event isn’t just about the logistics. It is about the satisfaction of the people joining us. I want every guest to feel that their needs were anticipated and that the services we provide exceeded their expectations. Seeing that happiness firsthand and knowing that our team delivered a seamless, high-quality experience is ultimately why I do what I do.
