Meet Aron Kirby of Nashville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aron Kirby.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I grew up in Middle Georgia, where country music was always a big part of my life. I eventually moved to Nashville in a camper with my brother and cousin to chase the dream of becoming a country artist. It wasn’t glamorous, but it taught me a lot about sacrifice, persistence, and how badly I wanted to make music my life.

Over time, my path shifted from the traditional music route into live streaming. TikTok Live gave me a stage I could step onto every day, and that changed everything. I started building a real community through music, conversation, and consistency. That community became the AK Army.

Today, I’m a country singer, daily live performer, and TikTok Live Pro creator, still chasing the same dream I came to Nashville for… just in a new way, with a community behind me.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. Moving to Nashville to chase music came with a lot of uncertainty, and there were plenty of times where I had to figure things out as I went. Like a lot of independent artists, I’ve had to deal with rejection, financial pressure, self doubt, and the challenge of trying to stand out in a city full of talented people chasing the same dream.

One of the biggest challenges has been learning that there is no one perfect path anymore. I had to stop waiting for permission and start building my own stage. Live streaming became that stage for me, but even that took consistency, long hours, and learning how to perform, connect, and build a community in real time.

The struggles have taught me to keep showing up even when it is not easy. They also made me appreciate the AK Army even more, because having people believe in you on the hard days makes a huge difference.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a country singer, live performer, and creator. My work is centered around live music, storytelling, and building a real community through performance. I sing a mix of country covers and original music, and I’ve built a daily live show experience where people can come in, hang out, and feel like they are part of something.

I’m probably best known for my deep country voice, my TikTok Live performances, and the community we’ve built called the AK Army. What I’m most proud of is that it feels real. It’s not just posting videos or singing into a phone, it has become a live music room where people support each other, laugh, share stories, and show up consistently.

What sets me apart is the connection. I care about making people feel seen when they come into my live room. I want it to feel like an online honky-tonk… good country music, real conversation, and a place where people can belong.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I think the music industry is going to keep moving toward direct connection between artists and fans. For a long time, artists needed a label, radio, or someone in the industry to give them permission to be heard. Now, platforms like TikTok Live allow independent artists to build real audiences directly.

I believe live streaming, short-form content, and community-based fanbases are going to become a much bigger part of an artist’s career. People still love songs, but they also want to know the person behind the songs. They want access, authenticity, and a reason to care.

For country music especially, I think storytelling will always matter. The way people discover artists may change, but honest songs and real connection will never go out of style. The artists who can combine good music with consistency, personality, and community are going to have a lot of opportunity over the next 5–10 years.
