Exploring Life & Business with Ursula Reed of U R NASHVILLE

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ursula Reed.

Hi Ursula, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
When I entered real estate, I did not set out to simply sell homes; I set out to create something meaningful.

Before real estate, I spent nearly two decades as a school counselor. That chapter of my life shaped how I connect with people. It taught me how to listen deeply, guide others through important life decisions, and understand that every person’s story matters. Those lessons became the foundation of how I serve my clients today.

My path into real estate was also personal. During my own homebuilding experience, I walked away feeling like something was missing. It lacked care, connection, and the elevated experience I believed people deserved during such a major life moment. That experience planted the seed for what would eventually become U R NASHVILLE.

I built U R NASHVILLE with the vision of redefining what real estate can feel like. To me, buying or selling a home is not just a transaction; it is deeply personal. It is about lifestyle, legacy, and creating a life you love. That is where The Nashville Concierge was born; a brand centered on thoughtful service, meaningful relationships, and curated experiences that connect people not only to homes, but to the best of Nashville living.

Over time, that vision expanded into The Nashville Concierge Collective, where I have the opportunity to mentor and collaborate with other agents who believe in serving with heart, excellence, and authenticity. It has also grown into U R NASHVILLE Edit, which is my creative extension of the brand; curating experiences, highlighting places, and telling the story of Nashville through a luxury lifestyle lens.

At the center of it all, I am simply someone who loves people, loves meaningful connection, and loves creating experiences that leave a lasting impression. Real estate just happens to be the avenue where all of those passions come together.

U R NASHVILLE has become more than a business to me; it is a reflection of who I am, how I live, and how I believe people should feel when they work with me; seen, valued, and truly cared for.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road; but I believe the road shaped me into who I am today.

Like many entrepreneurs, there were seasons of building where I was carrying vision that others could not yet see. Building a brand from the ground up takes courage, consistency, and a deep belief in what you are creating; especially when the results are not immediate. There were moments of doubt, moments of exhaustion, and moments where I questioned whether I was pouring too much of myself into something that would take time to bloom.

Real estate itself is not always easy. It is emotional, unpredictable, and constantly shifting. I have walked clients through exciting highs, difficult negotiations, delayed closings, heartbreak, and life transitions. You carry a lot in this business because homes hold so much meaning for people.

Personally, balancing motherhood, family, entrepreneurship, and continuing to evolve as a woman has also been part of my journey. There were times I had to learn that growth is not always about doing more; sometimes it is about becoming more aligned, more intentional, and more grounded in who you are.

One of my biggest lessons was understanding that I did not need to build what everyone else was building. I needed to build something authentic to me. That is where U R NASHVILLE truly found its voice; through connection, curation, elevated service, and creating experiences that feel meaningful.

The struggles taught me resilience. They sharpened my vision. They deepened my purpose.

Looking back, I would not call it a smooth road; I would call it a meaningful one. And I am still growing, still building, and still becoming.

As you know, we’re big fans of U R NASHVILLE. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
U R NASHVILLE is my concierge driven real estate brand through Benchmark Realty; built to offer clients a more elevated, connected, and personalized experience in real estate.

I specialize in helping clients buy and sell homes while delivering a level of service that extends well beyond the transaction. My business is rooted in connection; not only connecting clients to homes, but to trusted professionals, local experiences, and resources that enhance how they live in Nashville.

That is where The Nashville Concierge comes to life. I am known for being a connector; connecting clients to lending partners, design professionals, movers, local gems, and meaningful experiences that make navigating a move or settling into Nashville feel seamless and well supported.

A defining extension of my brand is U R NASHVILLE Edit; where I blend real estate with thoughtfully curated experiences that bring people together. Experiences such as Bubbly & Shop Soirée, Keys & Cocktails, and Minority Collective reflect my passion for hospitality, community, and creating memorable moments that foster authentic connection.

What sets U R NASHVILLE apart is the concierge approach woven into every client experience. I believe service should feel polished, intentional, and highly personalized. My clients are not simply receiving real estate guidance; they are stepping into a thoughtfully connected network and an experience designed with care from beginning to end.

What I am most proud of is that U R NASHVILLE feels authentic. It is a brand built on service, creativity, connection, and a genuine love for bringing people together; whether through real estate, curated experiences, or helping clients discover the very best of Nashville.

Any big plans?
I am excited about thoughtful growth.

I have spent years building U R NASHVILLE with intention, and moving forward, I am looking forward to expanding the brand in ways that continue to blend real estate, lifestyle, and curated experiences in a meaningful way.

A big part of that future is continuing to grow The Nashville Concierge Collective; creating more opportunity to build, mentor, and collaborate with other real estate agents who value service, authenticity, and creating elevated client experiences. Building something bigger than myself, while helping others grow within it, is something I am deeply passionate about.

I am also excited to further develop U R NASHVILLE Edit as a lifestyle extension of the brand. There is so much opportunity to create memorable experiences, spotlight Nashville in a fresh way, and continue building meaningful community through thoughtfully curated gatherings and unique concepts that bring people together.

At the heart of it all, I want to keep evolving how people experience real estate. I see U R NASHVILLE continuing to grow as a trusted brand known not only for helping clients buy and sell homes, but for creating connection, community, and a true concierge experience that feels unlike anything else in the market.

Most of all, I am looking forward to building with greater alignment; leaning into what feels authentic, creating with intention, and continuing to shape a brand that reflects who I am.

I believe the future of U R NASHVILLE is not just growth for growth’s sake; it is thoughtful expansion, deeper impact, and creating experiences and connections that leave a lasting impression.
