Jamela, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Temple Love Juices was born from a very personal place. After becoming a mom, I found myself struggling to consistently prioritize my health while juggling motherhood, daily responsibilities, and everything that comes with caring for others. Juicing became my form of self care. It was one of the few things that made me feel like I was intentionally pouring back into myself.

As I started experiencing the benefits firsthand, more energy, better habits, and a greater sense of wellness, I realized so many other women, especially busy moms, were facing the same challenge: wanting to live healthier but not having the time, consistency, or convenience to make it happen.

That’s what inspired me to create Temple Love Juices. The name “Temple” represents the body, and my mission has always been to encourage people to care for themselves from the inside out. What started as making fresh cold pressed juices for myself quickly grew into a business centered around helping others make healthy living feel realistic, simple, and sustainable.

Today, Temple Love Juices has grown into more than just juice. It’s a wellness brand focused on convenience, consistency, and care. From curated juice programs to family-friendly wellness options, my vision continues to expand as I create experiences and products that help people, especially women and families, build healthier lifestyles without feeling overwhelmed.

This journey has been built through faith, personal transformation, motherhood, and a genuine passion for helping others love on their temple.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it definitely has not been a completely smooth road, but every challenge has helped shape the business into what it is today.

One of the biggest struggles was balancing entrepreneurship with motherhood. Building a business while caring for a young family requires a lot of discipline, flexibility, and grace. There were seasons where time, energy, and even confidence felt limited, especially while trying to grow something meaningful while also showing up fully at home.

Another challenge was the learning curve of building a food and wellness business from the ground up. From understanding production, ingredient sourcing, shelf life, packaging, pricing, and customer education, there has been a lot of trial, error, and behind the scenes problem solving. Working with fresh cold pressed juice comes with its own unique challenges because quality, freshness, and consistency are everything.

Like many entrepreneurs, there were also moments of self doubt, wondering if the vision was too big or if the timing was right. But those moments pushed me to become more creative, more resourceful, and more committed to the mission.

What has kept me going is remembering why I started. Temple Love Juices was created from a real personal need, and knowing that the brand can help other women, moms, and families prioritize their health in a realistic way makes every challenge worth it.

The road has had its ups and downs, but each obstacle has strengthened both me and the business.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5 to 10 years, I believe the wellness industry will continue to experience tremendous growth and innovation because people are becoming far more intentional about their health, not just reacting when something goes wrong, but proactively investing in prevention, nutrition, mental wellness, and overall quality of life. Industry research continues to show strong momentum, with the global wellness economy projected to approach $10 trillion by the end of the decade, reflecting just how significant this shift has become.

I think one of the biggest cultural shifts is that wellness is no longer viewed as a luxury. It is becoming a lifestyle expectation. People are becoming more aware that their bodies are their temple, and what they eat, drink, think, and do daily directly impacts how they feel and function.

We are also seeing consumers move away from one size fits all health solutions and toward personalized wellness experiences. People want products and services that fit their lifestyle, their goals, and their families. Convenience will continue to be a major driver, especially for busy parents and working professionals who want healthier options without adding complexity to their day.

Another major shift is the growing demand for preventative wellness. Rather than waiting for health concerns to arise, more people are choosing to invest in habits that support energy, digestion, immunity, mental clarity, and long-term wellbeing.
