Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris “PMRnB” Jones.
Hi Chris “PMRnB”, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m an R&B/Southern Soul Recording Artist and have been performing and producing music for 30 years. I moved to Nashville in the mid 90s during my high school years and started my music career journey at McGavock High School with a group I formed with some friends and I haven’t stopped since. Through the years I’ve toured with and produced music with many major artists from Jagged Edge to Angie Stone to most recently Anthony Q, who I’m currently working with. In 2025 I went viral multiple times with my single “That’s What Love Will Do” and the remix featuring Anthony Q. My fan base has since grown to hundreds of thousands of global listeners each month across all platforms.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There used to be gate keepers, but social media has all but eliminated them. The remaining obstacles tend to be money and time based. With time and consistency even many of those can be overcome

In addition to being a recording artist, I’m also a songwriter and producer of all popular genres of music. My ability to remain active and continue to grow in this business in my mid forties is what I’m most proud of at this ping
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Without risk there is no growth and likely no motion whatsoever. Calculated risk is absolutely necessary in all aspects of life, most especially business and finances
