Today we’d like to introduce you to Quinn Boss.
Hi Quinn, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hi! I’m Quinn Boss! Born and raised on a horse and alfalfa farm in small-town New Jersey, I grew up with grit in my blood. As the only granddaughter in a family of entrepreneurs and worked with in our family business, I developed a strong will and an unstoppable drive early on — qualities that have defined every chapter of my life since. I moved to Nashville in 2010 to pursue singing and songwriting, a passion I dedicated myself to for over a decade. While music will always hold a place in my heart, my path eventually led me toward a new creative calling. After founding a children’s clothing company and navigating its closure during the pandemic, I moved to Chicago briefly in 2022 for a breather, before returning to Nashville in August 2025 — ready to rebuild and reimagine what was next. That turning point came in March 2025, when a close friend encouraged me to go back to Design school at 36. I enrolled in art school, stepped into the design world, and never looked back. Today, I run my own full-service interior design business, Quinn Boss Interiors, and serve as an independent E-Designer with HAVENLY, working with clients across the country via virtual consultations.
My journey is proof that reinvention is always possible. My design philosophy is rooted in that same belief — that a well-designed home has the power to transform how people feel about their lives. I show up every day with one goal: to make people happy in the spaces they call home.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I grew up incredibly lucky — raised in a stable, supportive home where hard work was simply part of life. From high school on, I picked up small jobs and worked in our family business, and that’s where my work ethic was born. Once I turned 21 and struck out on my own, I learned quickly that everything from that point forward was up to me. Over the years I’ve experienced both ends of the spectrum — barely scraping by and riding waves of real opportunity. In 2018, I lost everything and had to start completely from scratch. It’s been a long road back, but discovering design has pointed me in the right direction in a way nothing else has. I couldn’t be more grateful.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am an Interior Design and Architecture student, while simultaneously running my own design firm and serving as an Independent E-Designer for Havenly. My services span the full range — from complete renovations and custom drapery to whole-home organization — but my true specialty is people. It’s understanding who they are, how they live, and what will make them feel genuinely good in their own space.
If every client walks away a little happier than the day we started, I’ve done my job. That’s the whole point.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Looking ahead, my vision is as big as my drive. I want to expand into garden and restaurant design, possibly build homes, push creative boundaries beyond the home, and one day run a full-scale design firm. My ultimate goal is to work remotely, travel the world, and design beautiful spaces wherever life takes me. The dream isn’t just big — it’s global.
