Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenny Fann.
Hi Jenny, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Real estate is truly in my blood. My grandmother was a real estate broker, and my mother followed in her footsteps, so I grew up around the business. Some of my earliest memories include listening to conversations about homes, clients, and helping people through important life transitions. While I didn’t jump into the industry immediately, those experiences planted the seed for what would eventually become my career.
I officially entered real estate 12 years ago with a passion for helping people and a desire to build a business centered around relationships, trust, and service. From the beginning, I focused on educating clients, simplifying the process, and providing the kind of guidance that helps people feel confident in their decisions.
Over the years, that commitment has allowed me to serve hundreds of families throughout Middle Tennessee and Northern Alabama. As my business grew, so did my vision. I realized I wanted to create something larger than myself, which led to the formation of Jenny Fann & The Gurus. Today, our team is built around delivering an exceptional client experience through strong systems, innovative marketing, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to the people we serve.
Looking back, I never could have imagined where this journey would take me. What started as a career has become a calling. I now have the privilege of leading a team, mentoring agents, and helping families navigate some of life’s biggest milestones. While the industry continues to evolve, one thing has remained constant: my belief that real estate is ultimately about relationships, and taking care of people will always be the foundation of long-term success.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not. Like any career worth building, there have been plenty of challenges along the way. Real estate is an industry that can humble you quickly. Markets change, deals fall apart, clients face difficult circumstances, and life doesn’t stop happening just because you’re trying to run a business.
Over the years, I’ve experienced personal loss, navigated changing markets, and led a growing team where people have come and gone as they pursued different seasons of life and career goals. There have been moments that tested my resilience and made me question what was next.
What has kept me moving forward is knowing that I am working in my gifts and doing something I genuinely love. I have a heart for serving people, and helping families through some of life’s biggest transitions gives purpose to what I do every day. When you love what you do and stay focused on the people you’re helping, you find the strength to keep going, even when the road gets difficult.
Looking back, many of the struggles became some of my greatest lessons. They shaped me into a better leader, a better business owner, and ultimately a better advocate for my clients.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was always determined and a little stubborn in the best possible way. I’ve never liked hearing the word “no.” If someone told me something couldn’t be done, I usually saw it as a challenge to find another way. That mindset has stayed with me throughout my life and career.
I was actually a pretty shy kid, but my mom worked hard to bring me out of my shell. Thankfully, she did, because I discovered that I genuinely love people. I love hearing their stories, building relationships, and making connections that last. Looking back, it makes perfect sense that I found my way into real estate, where serving others and building trust is at the center of everything I do.
I’ve always been a creative person who enjoys solving problems and thinking outside the box. I love finding solutions, bringing people together, and helping others succeed. Faith has also been a cornerstone of my life for as long as I can remember. It has shaped how I approach relationships, leadership, challenges, and service to others.
While I’ve certainly grown and matured over the years, I would say the young girl who was determined, creative, social, faith driven, and passionate about helping others is still very much the person I am today.
