Today we’d like to introduce you to Sherri Weakly.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story is like that of many single mothers who have experienced both challenges and triumphs while working to establish creditworthiness and create a stable financial future for themselves and their children.
As a single mom, I faced my own struggles with credit and finances. Those experiences shaped me, strengthened me, and ultimately led me to discover the power of financial literacy, credit education, and wealth-building strategies. Today, my son is 18 years old, and I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach him the importance of establishing and maintaining good credit, building wealth, and creating a strong financial foundation for his future.
My mission is to empower individuals and families who may feel discouraged, ashamed, or powerless because of their credit challenges. I want people to know that their current situation does not define their future. Through education, support, and proven tools, positive change is possible.
As a Wealth Educator, I am able to offer credit restoration services through United Wealth Education. We not only serve individual clients, but we also partner with tax professionals, realtors, mortgage lenders, and other professionals who use our services to help turn unqualified clients into qualified clients. Our goal is to provide the tools needed to build, organize, protect, and strengthen the financial future people are working so hard to create.
I believe this work is part of my God-given assignment. Because I have personally experienced credit and financial struggles, I can authentically connect with others and share how credit restoration and financial literacy tools have positively impacted my life. More importantly, I teach people not only how to improve their credit, but also how to maintain and protect it once they achieve their goals.
The statistics surrounding financial wellness in America are staggering. Approximately 64% of Americans are expected to retire with less than $10,000 in retirement savings. Nearly 60% of Americans do not have a will or trust in place. Identity theft continues to affect millions of people, and more than 100 million Americans have credit scores below 700. These realities highlight the urgent need for financial education and empowerment.
If I can play even a small role in helping transform the lives of American households, then I believe I am fulfilling my purpose. Having personally benefited from these services, there is nothing more rewarding than witnessing the joy, confidence, and opportunities that others experience as they improve their financial lives.
I am always looking for opportunities to share this message—whether at church, community events, entrepreneur gatherings, speaking engagements, grocery stores, or simply through conversations with family and friends. Every interaction is an opportunity to educate, encourage, and inspire.
I am Sherri “The Godgirlboss.” My business is built on Faith, Purpose, and Power. My commitment is to serve with clean hands, a pure heart, and a genuine desire to help others create a stronger financial future for themselves and generations to come.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road, but I know the battles I’ve fought along the way have built strength, resilience, and character within me.
One of the hardest parts of rebuilding is staying disciplined. It’s easy to get caught up in finally being approved for the things you once dreamed of having. I’ve experienced both incredible successes and painful setbacks, and those experiences have taught me valuable lessons.
One saying I live by is, “It’s not the car you drive—it’s how you drive it.” To me, that means true success isn’t about appearances or possessions; it’s about making wise decisions and staying focused on your purpose.
If you’re reading this and your situation feels hopeless, I want to encourage you not to give up. Keep your goals at the forefront, stay committed to the process, and trust that your hard work will pay off. What feels impossible today can become your reality tomorrow.
That old, not-so-fancy car can one day be replaced by something you never imagined owning—not because of luck, but because you refused to quit.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Here’s a polished version that keeps your voice while improving clarity and flow:
I am a Credit and Financial Education Specialist with a passion for helping as many people as possible improve their financial future through credit restoration and financial literacy. My mission is to educate, empower, and equip individuals with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed financial decisions and create lasting change.
In addition to providing credit education and restoration resources, I also share opportunities for those who want to learn more about financial wellness or supplement their income by becoming referral partners. I believe that information can be life-changing when it is shared with the right people at the right time.
What makes me most proud is being able to offer hope to individuals and families who once felt stuck or discouraged. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the joy and confidence people experience when they take the first step toward repairing their credit or decide to pursue new opportunities that help them reach their personal and financial goals. My own journey has inspired me to help others realize that with education, consistency, and the right support, a brighter financial future is possible.
Any big plans?
I’m excited about the opportunities ahead and grateful for what’s on the horizon. I’m looking forward to speaking at upcoming conferences, partnering with like-minded individuals who are passionate about empowering those in need, and continuing to make a meaningful impact through financial education and service.
I’m also excited to take the next step in my professional journey by obtaining my real estate license, expanding my ability to help individuals and families build brighter futures through homeownership and wealth-building opportunities.
The future is full of purpose, and I’m ready to embrace it.
