Meet Clelia Stefanini of Coach Clelia Fitness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Clelia Stefanini.

Hi Clelia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey into coaching started with my own love of movement and training. I was a competitive Figure Skater for 14 years and I’ve always been drawn to fitness, not just for the physical benefits, but for the confidence, resilience, and sense of accomplishment it can build.

Over the years, I developed a particular passion for strength training and helping people discover what their bodies are capable of.

As a coach, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients—from beginners looking to establish healthy habits to experienced athletes pursuing performance goals. Through those experiences, I learned that successful coaching is about much more than writing workouts. It’s about understanding each person’s unique circumstances, helping them navigate challenges, and creating a collaborative plan that fits their life.

Today, Coach Clelia Fitness, is built around individualized coaching that helps people become stronger, healthier, and more confident in a sustainable way. My focus is on meeting clients where they are, providing the education and support they need, and helping them build a positive relationship with fitness that lasts well beyond any single goal.

More recently, becoming a mother has added another layer to my perspective as a coach. It has deepened my appreciation for the realities of balancing fitness with the demands of everyday life and reinforced my belief that training should support your life—not compete with it.

At the heart of everything I do is the belief that fitness should empower people. Whether someone wants to run their first race, get stronger, improve their health, or simply feel better in their day-to-day life, I love helping them realize they’re capable of more than they think.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road.

One challenge has been balancing growth with maintaining the quality of coaching I provide. I’ve always believed in a highly individualized approach, which means I invest a significant amount of time and energy into each client. As demand has grown, I’ve had to be intentional about how I scale my business without sacrificing the level of support and attention that makes coaching effective.

On a personal level, navigating fitness, coaching, and entrepreneurship while becoming a mother brought its own set of challenges. It forced me to reevaluate priorities, become more efficient with my time, and practice the same flexibility and self-compassion that I encourage in my clients.

There have also been moments of self-doubt along the way. The fitness industry can be noisy, with constantly changing trends and countless opinions about the “right” way to train. Learning to trust my experience, stay grounded in evidence-based coaching, and focus on what genuinely helps my clients has been an important part of my growth.

Looking back, though, those challenges have shaped me into a better coach and business owner. They’ve reinforced the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, and staying committed to serving people rather than chasing trends.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Coach Clelia Fitness is a personalized online coaching business focused on helping people build strength, improve their fitness, and create sustainable habits that support their lives for the long term.

I work with a wide variety of clients, from beginners who are just getting started to experienced exercisers looking to improve performance, train for endurance events, or break through plateaus. While every client’s goals are different, my coaching philosophy remains the same: fitness should enhance your life, not take it over.

What sets my coaching apart is the level of personalization and support I provide. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all programs or cookie-cutter templates. Every client receives a plan designed around their goals, experience level, schedule, equipment, and lifestyle. Equally important, they receive ongoing guidance, feedback, and problem-solving support along the way. In my experience, the conversations, adjustments, and coaching relationship are often just as valuable as the workouts themselves.

I’m known for helping clients find the balance between challenge and sustainability. Many people come to me after years of feeling like they have to choose between being “all in” or completely off track. I help them build an approach that works in real life—through busy careers, parenthood, travel, life changes, and everything in between.

Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me and the community that has grown through referrals and long-term relationships. Many of my clients stay with me for years, not because they’re chasing a quick fix, but because they’ve found a sustainable way to continue growing, learning, and feeling their best.

At its core, Coach Clelia Fitness is about empowerment. My goal is to help people develop the strength, confidence, and knowledge to take ownership of their health and fitness. Whether someone wants to get stronger, run farther, move better, or simply feel more capable in their everyday life, I want them to leave coaching with skills and habits that last long after we’ve worked together.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
My definition of success has evolved over the years.

Early on, I probably would have measured success by achievements, performance goals, or business growth. While those things can certainly be meaningful, I’ve come to see success as something much broader.

Today, I define success as creating a life that aligns with my values and allows me to have a positive impact on others. In my business, success isn’t just about the number of clients I coach—it’s about the quality of the relationships I build and the lasting changes my clients experience. Seeing someone gain confidence, discover their strength, complete a goal they once thought was impossible, or develop a healthier relationship with fitness is incredibly rewarding.

Personally, success means having the flexibility to be present for the people who matter most to me while continuing to do work that I genuinely love. As a coach, entrepreneur, athlete, wife, and mother, I’ve learned that success isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about being intentional with my time and energy and focusing on what matters most in each season of life.

Ultimately, I think success is less about reaching a destination and more about living in a way that feels meaningful, fulfilling, and true to who you are.
