Daily Inspiration: Meet Brooke Noel Morgan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Noel Morgan.

Hi Brooke Noel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I picked up a brush in 2019 in the midst of a significant life shake up…painting became my muse, a meditative practice and means of expressing life experiences, emotions and the subconsious. At the time, I was teaching and I had a lifestyle brand called Nomad Collective. I was surprised and delighted by the response to my art, and I just kept going. I took the leap from teaching in 2020 and haven’t looked back. Creativity is a river, always flowing and moving us in different directions. At the moment, my painting practice is at the center of expression, but I love to create nourishing soulful spaces, I love to write, I love to connect with people and flow through life as one winding adventure.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Haha. No roads are smooth, and everything changes all of the time…but my internal highway is becoming more stable as I learn to navigate the ebb and flow of life as a full time creative. It’s an unpredictable path, not knowing how the resources will come….at times, it’s like walking a tightrope with no net. And yet, there’s something pretty wildly beautiful about a life of surrender and radical trust that I’m abundantly held and cared for, and the more I relax, the more things flow and come to me. I’m learning to lean back instead of push, to rest and receive…definitely a work en progress.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At. the moment, I’m likely described as a painter and an interior stylist. My work is characterized by abstract organic form and a deep connection to Mother Nature. The feedback I most often received is the visceral response people feel when they interact with a painting or a space I’ve touched…a feeling of rest and deep peace. It’s really beautiful to hear and is my love offering to the world.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Surrender, acceptance, courage – a balanced dance between these
