Today we’d like to introduce you to Axel Raighn.
Hi Axel, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey as a DJ began in 2016 while I was in college, where I got my start as a hype man for local rap artists before stepping behind the decks myself. By 2017, I was performing private events for schools, organizations, and individuals, building the foundation for what would become a career centered around creating unforgettable experiences.
In 2018, I entered Nashville’s downtown nightlife scene after joining a multi-operation DJ company. There, I developed my skills performing for diverse crowds while learning how to adapt to any room, audience, or atmosphere. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with major companies, brands, and organizations, providing entertainment for everything from corporate activations to large-scale public events.
As I continued to grow, I became passionate about creating events that were more than just parties. I wanted to build immersive experiences that combined music, storytelling, performance, and crowd interaction. That vision led to the creation of original themed events such as THE ZOO ( An Animal Rave Masquerade), THE AFTER PARTY (Rap Focused Night), High Tech Horror, a collaborative event concept developed with another artist, and The Dance Dance Street Circus. These events helped establish my reputation for creativity, theatrical production, and unique audience experiences that blur the line between a DJ set and a live show.
In 2023, I reached a major milestone when I was given the opportunity to perform at Breakaway Music Festival. That same year, I joined a nationally recognized themed rave production company as a touring DJ. Since then, I’ve traveled monthly performing at large-scale events including Shrek Raves, Big Bubble Raves, Daft Punk Tribute experiences, and other themed productions. These shows regularly draw crowds ranging from 200 to more than 1,000 attendees and have taken me to incredible venues across the country, including House of Blues and other premier entertainment destinations.
Since beginning my touring career, I’ve had the opportunity to share stages with nationally recognized talent and open for incredible artists, including Habstrakt and other respected names in electronic music.
Today, I continue balancing national touring with a strong presence in the Nashville music scene. I’m known for imaginative concepts, theatrical performances, and a commitment to delivering experiences that audiences remember long after the music stops. Whether I’m performing at a festival, themed rave, corporate event, nightclub, or community gathering, my goal remains the same: create moments that bring people together, inspire connection, and leave a lasting impact.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There’s always challenges be over looked, gate keeping, creative differences, having kids, travel, finances, early start ignorance ect. However, thats the beauty of this life and my career everything happens for a reason and every reason is a lesson to learn for good or bad
