Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Leclere.
Hi Brandon, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have never been one to take a straight-line approach to life, and I believe that is exactly what makes me the professional I am today. With a family history in home building spanning two generations, the construction industry was always in my blood, but my path to finding my place in it was anything but conventional.
My journey to Middle Tennessee began in 2008, when I moved here to participate in a wilderness program. That experience gave me a deep, lasting appreciation for this region, but my path forward took several interesting turns. Over the years, I held a wide range of roles that taught me the value of grit, humility, and leadership. From managing a thrift store for five years to physically demanding labor on various job sites, I learned that every environment offers its own set of challenges and lessons. Those years taught me how to work hard, solve problems, and connect with people from all walks of life.
Those formative experiences eventually led me back to my roots in building. I spent time in California working with a boutique builder, a chapter that sharpened my eye for quality, before returning to Tennessee for good in 2017.
Today, I balance my ongoing construction management work with a prominent local home builder with my additional role as an Affiliate Broker at Benchmark Realty in the Nashville and Franklin area. Because of my background, I don’t just see a real estate transaction as a business deal; I see it as a significant milestone. I know what goes into creating a home from the ground up, and I bring that same grounded, builder’s perspective to every client I work with.
My goal is simple: to provide honest, transparent guidance that helps you navigate the market with confidence. Whether you’re looking for a new property or selling your own, I’m here to bridge the gap between the blueprint and the front door, ensuring your next move is built on a solid foundation.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life has been good for the most part. I was raised by a great family, and have a wonderful wife and two kids. I’ve certainly had some rough patches over the years, but that has helped shape who I am today. When I attended the wilderness program, Narrow Gate Foundation, that was a critical learning experience in my life that I cherish. Even though that was in 2008-2009, it still has a lasting impact on me.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I work full time for a custom home builder in addition to being a Realtor. I specialize in helping people achieve their ideal version of the American Dream through homeownership, using my nearly 10 years experience in home building.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Dave Krikac, one of my past bosses. He played a huge role in showing me what it’s like to run an honest and successful business, all while believing in me and giving me opportunities to grow as a leader within his company. To this day I consider him a friend and mentor. We try to get coffee every few weeks still.
