Rising Stars: Meet Qaylynn Farrington of Nashville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Qaylynn Farrington.

Hi Qaylynn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey has been anything but traditional. I’ve always been someone with a lot of interests, and over the years I’ve explored everything from healthcare to content creation and entrepreneurship. While working and navigating life’s challenges, including recovering from a serious car accident, and single motherhood, I became increasingly interested in building something of my own.

What started as a creative outlet on social media eventually grew into a passion for content creation, personal branding, and helping others pursue their goals with more confidence. Along the way, I’ve built communities centered around self-improvement, lifestyle, and empowerment while learning firsthand what it takes to stay resilient when things don’t go according to plan.

Today, I continue balancing work, family life, education, and content creation while exploring new opportunities in digital media and entrepreneurship. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that success isn’t always a straight line. Sometimes it’s about continuing to show up, adapting when necessary, and trusting that every experience is helping shape the next chapter of your story.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many people building something for themselves, I’ve faced plenty of setbacks, uncertainty, and moments where I questioned whether I was on the right path.

One of the biggest challenges was learning how to balance multiple responsibilities at once. Between work, school, personal obligations, and pursuing creative and entrepreneurial goals, there were times when it felt overwhelming. Recovering from a serious car accident also forced me to slow down and adapt in ways I hadn’t anticipated.

I’ve also experienced the frustration that comes with building an online presence and pursuing new opportunities. There are periods where growth feels slow, projects don’t perform the way you hoped, or you have to pivot and start over. Those moments can be discouraging, but they’ve taught me resilience and patience.

Looking back, I think the struggles have been just as valuable as the successes. They’ve taught me how to stay consistent, keep learning, and continue moving forward even when the path isn’t clear. Every challenge has helped shape who I am today and has given me a greater appreciation for the progress I’ve made.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I currently work in cardiology, specializing in EKG testing, while also pursuing a degree in Radiologic Technology. Alongside my healthcare career, I am a content creator, UGC creator, and aspiring entrepreneur focused on lifestyle, automotive, and personal development content.

What makes my journey unique is that I’ve never limited myself to a single path. Healthcare has taught me compassion, discipline, and the importance of continuous learning, while content creation has allowed me to express my creativity, connect with others, and explore entrepreneurship. Although these fields may seem very different, both revolve around people, communication, and making a positive impact.

I’m most proud of my ability to continue growing in multiple areas of my life at once. Balancing work, school, and creative pursuits isn’t always easy, but it has taught me resilience, adaptability, and time management. Every milestone—whether it’s helping patients, succeeding in school, building a community online, or securing a brand partnership—represents the hard work and dedication behind the scenes.

I believe what sets me apart is my willingness to embrace both the scientific and creative sides of who I am. I don’t see myself as just a healthcare professional or just a content creator. I’m someone who is passionate about learning, creating, and building a future that reflects all of my interests rather than choosing only one.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is feeling like I’m growing and building a life that reflects who I really am.

In my work, I find a lot of fulfillment in helping patients and being part of their care, even in small ways. Working in cardiology has shown me how meaningful it is to show up for people during moments where they really need support. It gives my work a sense of purpose that I deeply value.

Outside of healthcare, I’m happiest when I’m creating. Whether that’s making content, building ideas for my brand, or working on something new late at night, I enjoy having space to express myself and bring ideas to life. There’s something really satisfying about turning creativity into something real and tangible.

I also find happiness in the quieter moments—driving at night, having time to think, spending time with my young daughter, or just stepping away from everything for a bit. Those moments help me reset and stay grounded while I’m balancing so many different parts of my life.

Overall, what makes me happiest is alignment—when my work, my goals, and my personal life all feel like they’re moving in a direction that’s true to me.
