Hi Joe, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m originally from Michigan, spent some time in LA, and have been in Nashville for almost 2 years!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not particularly. It definitely took some trial and error to figure out who I truly was as an artist, and corny as it sounds, a person. Most of my time in LA was spent on the error side of that process, but feel like I’ve found my place in Nashville.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m an artist, songwriter, and guitarist.
My biggest accomplishments to date as an artist are probably having my song “Bring Me Back” surpass a million streams on Spotify, and gaining over 3 million views on tiktok – has been very fulfilling to see how that song has connected with people.
As a songwriter I’ve been fortunate enough to write with some incredible artists and be a part of their journeys towards success, always cool to see that happen for folks. Also got to be featured in American Songwriter magazine, which felt pretty surreal.
