Today we’d like to introduce you to Ricardo Rich.
Hi Ricardo , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was born in Pomona, California, where my passion for music began at an early age. I sang from time to time throughout childhood, but it wasn’t until my teenage years that I discovered music was truly my calling. In 2016, I made the decision to pursue my dream and focus fully on my music career. I began by creating covers, then gradually transitioned into developing my own original sound. A turning point came in 2017, when I connected with a group of artists who opened my mind to a fresh perspective on music and collaboration. While working on group tracks, I also began focusing more on my solo creative vision.
I later became involved with Ice Breaking Films LLC, where I gained valuable knowledge in music video production. In August 2019, I released my debut album, and my talent quickly earned recognition across the city. On December 5, 2019, I hosted my first successful showcase, marking another major milestone in my career. I continued creating music and visuals, eventually becoming a cofounder of an entertainment company before going on to establish my own brand, Rich Community Entertainment. Along the way, I connected with notable artists and personalities including Eric Bellinger, Tonio Skits, and others.
In 2022, shortly after meeting Eric Bellinger, I was involved in a serious accident while traveling to Atlanta for a performance. I spent roughly 30 days in a coma and required a breathing tube, which unfortunately damaged my vocal cords. Though the recovery has been slow, my voice is healing. I’m now attending Austin Peay State University as part of my effort to rebuild and strengthen my vocals. More recently, I connected with Wild ’N Out star Charlie Clips and am preparing for an upcoming 32nd birthday bash event hosted by Charlie Clips.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My accident is a big obstacle that forced me to start over in a sense. Learning how to sing and speak correctly.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am known for singing, but im also known as a promoter. What sets me apart from others is the way I speak and act with respect.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Reading books that give me more insight of the business or watching videos as well
