Today we’d like to introduce you to E.T. The Producer.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
E.T. The Producer, born Elijah Henderson, is a 27 year old, independent music producer born and raised in Nashville, TN. E.T. began music production in 2019, after being introduced to it by close friend and artist, T3mptation. After building his base skill set with T3mptation, though they continue to work together, E.T. has branched out and produced for many independent artists such as David Banks, RVSE L.A, King Brown Cow and several others. Continuing to build his brand and reputation, E.T. aims to be among the greatest producers and one day take care of his family with his music. Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Most of the time, things go right, but sometimes they don’t. A collaboration with an artist or two could be fantastic; we all get along, everyones doing their part, and the track comes to be a beautiful masterpiece. Then on the other hand it could be terrible; someone doesnt like someone else due to a bad misunderstanding, no ones doing what needs to be done, or they weren’t prepared and the track becomes a past thought.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a producer first (in case my name didnt tell you you that😅) as well as an engineer. While I’d say I’m not really known for anything specific, I know I make pretty fire beats. I’m proud of my arsenal, one, because i can see my growth throughout the tracks, and two, I genuinely dont think I’ve ever not found a beat for someone that they like. What really sets me apart from others is the way I work. I will ALWAYS move so that whatever happens, all parties involved benefit. I think alot of producers are selfish and that’s just not me.
What matters most to you?
Music itself, creating it, listening to it feeling it. Music is, was, and always be the most important thing in my life.
