Conversations with Tiffany Willett

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Willett.

Hi Tiffany, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hey there! I’m Tiffany – owner, dog lover, self-proclaimed fabric hoarder, and your go-to graphic designer for all things pup gear. Since 2017, I’ve been creating fun, durable, and affordable accessories inspired by my first two Cavaliers, Remi + Lola.

I’ve been married since 2004, have an amazing adult daughter, and when I’m not designing or sewing, you’ll probably find me snuggling pups, sipping coffee, or hunting for new fabrics I just have to have.
But let’s be real – this shop wouldn’t exist without my four-legged crew.

In 2017, we got our first cavalier, Remi, and my father in law suggested i start making him bow ties, bandanas and collars even though i’d failed every other time i had tried sewing. I was a full time graphic designer at the time facing serious burnout, so teaching myself to sew was a welcome distraction. I won’t lie, there were a lot of times i wanted to give up but with the support and cheerleading from my family, i kept going, and here we are, 9 years later, thriving.

I enjoy creating extremely durable, safe and stylish collars and accessories for all of my loyal and new customers. Seeing them get just as excited about new fabric releases as i do makes my heart so happy. i will forever be grateful to each and every person who trusts my attention to safety + style for their pups!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
yes and no. yes because i am fortunate to have some of the absolute best customers who cheer me on, come to see me at my in person events and bring their pups to snuggle. no, because sometimes things just don’t work out design wise the way i see them in my head and it gets frustrating trying to create that vision. also, i need to be much better at scheduling in person events…i did 9 events in 15 days last week and my body definitely did NOT enjoy that!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
i’d like to think i’m known for combining durability with design. I believe pet products don’t have to be boring to be practical. Every item is created with the idea that pets are family, and the accessories they wear every day should be high-quality, comfortable, and fun.

I’m most proud of is the connection we’ve built with our customers and their dogs. Many of our products become part of a dog’s everyday life, and it’s incredibly rewarding to know that something we’ve made helps keep pets safe while also making people smile. I love creating pieces that feel special and personal rather than mass-produced.

i love to combine a colorful, elevated aesthetic with my products that are designed to last. my customers are big fans of the bright and colorful, especially when i can also design a matching ID tag to coordinate with their new collar.

One thing that really makes my heart explode with gratitude is seeing customers come back again and again. Building relationships with fellow dog lovers and creating products that become part of their pets’ stories is what makes this business so meaningful to me.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
i adore what I do. I pay close attention to the details, listen to customer feedback, and continually look for ways to make my products and customer experience better. I think persistence, combined with genuine passion for my work, has been the biggest factor in my success.
