Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandere Peach.
Hi Alexandere, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The story begins with wanting to be a little different. I was always interested in tattoos and piercings which led me to getting a piercing apprenticeship at 18. I fell in love with this career with my first client experience. The came in wanting a helix piercing and she had an emotional response after seeing the piercing. It wasn’t a negative reaction which was absolutely amazing and a surreal feeling. To this day my job is about decorating my clients to not only feel comfortable in their own skin, but to give them even more confidence in themselves and their growth.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t always been an easy road. Between personal growth, business growth, and growing with people around me. It can be a strain on personal relationships because i pour so much into growing not only physically but with continued education. I recently experienced a massive loss in my life which led to me having to try to heal personally while maintaining my career. The loss i had was my dad who i would say was my biggest supporter even if he didn’t always say it. It has weighed heavily on the choice i have made the last year and now i have opened a private piercing room to give my clients the safe and quality experience that they deserve.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a professional body piercer. I think i specialize more in designing and curating a client’s piercing setup. This includes not only just piercing, but picking the perfect jewelry with them and making sure everything flows together nicely. I like to achieve the best outcome for my clients and maybe even bring a little joy into their day. You are never really sure what is going on in someone’s life where you can make a world of difference with a small gesture. I do my best to bring my knowledge to this field and continue to grow with my education and standards I set.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I have had a few major roles filled with people through the years. My mom is definitely a massive help through not only being supportive but who pushed me to do more and to be better. My dad pushed me as well and used to just tell people what i do and was so proud. I had behind the scenes help too and they will never understand how thankful i was for the smallest tasks they took on to help me through the day. My friends in the industry expressing how they were proud of what i do and enjoy that i do it differently. They always talked about me doing this on my own and now i have the chance to show them what i am capable of doing.
