Rising Stars: Meet Sarah Force of Philadelphia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Force.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
A lot has changed since I last shared my story with Nashville Voyager in 2023! At the time, I was really focused on figuring out where my passion for social media could take me. Looking back now, I had no idea how much that passion would evolve into the career I’m building today!

I’ve been working in social media marketing professionally and creating content for businesses across all different industries. I’ve learned so much through those experiences. Not only about social media marketing and content creation, but also about the type of career I want to build for myself. I really decided to take my passion for social media and content creation seriously and turn it into a career! I’ve continued building my own presence as a content creator while expanding into UGC. I create content for brands as well as businesses to use across their own social media platforms. Being able to create for myself, brands, and businesses has given me such a unique perspective because I understand social media from both sides. I know what it’s like to be the creator in front of the camera, but I also understand the strategy, planning, and work happening behind the scenes.

Now, I’m entering a completely new chapter and officially launching my own social media business, Sarahtonin Social Studio! Starting my own business has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. It feels like all of the different experiences I’ve had over the past few years have led me here. I’m taking everything I’ve learned from being a creator, working in social media, and partnering with different businesses and putting it into something that is completely my own!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not always been a smooth road! I don’t think it ever really is when you’re building something from the ground up and trying to create a career for yourself.

One of the biggest challenges for me was having the confidence to walk away from a job that I knew I wasn’t happy in. For a while, I stayed because of having that steady paycheck, even though I knew it wasn’t where I wanted to be long-term. Making the decision to leave was scary because there was so much uncertainty around what would come next. At the same time, I knew I wanted to give myself the opportunity to really pursue social media and content creation and see what I could build for myself! Looking back, leaving was one of the best decisions I could have made.

There are still small struggles along the way! Working for yourself comes with a lot of unknowns, and I’m constantly learning as I go. There are moments when things don’t happen as quickly as I hoped or I have to figure something out completely on my own. But I think that has also been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. Every challenge has pushed me to learn, grow, and trust myself a little more.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
For work, I am a full-time content creator and social media manager, creating content for brands and different businesses. I love that I get to be creative in so many different ways! One day I could be filming content for myself, and the next I’m creating something completely different for a business or brand.

On my personal pages, I’m mostly known for beauty, lifestyle, and travel content. I love sharing my life, places I’m traveling to, and really just taking my audience along on my journey with me! I’m working toward so many things I’ve dreamed about for years, both personally and professionally, and I want to share what that actually looks like along the way. Not just the exciting moments, but the whole process of building the life and career I’ve always wanted for myself.

I think what I’m most proud of right now is how motivated I am to actually make my dreams happen. I’m a HUGE vision board person, and watching things I put on my vision board start to become my reality this year has been such a surreal feeling! Every time I get to check something off, it just motivates me even more to keep going and keep building my dream life. I’m also so proud of how much I’ve poured into my career and now into starting my own social media business, Sarahtonin Social Studio. This is something I’ve wanted for myself for a long time, so seeing it actually come to life is really exciting! I feel like I’m only at the beginning of what I want to build, and I truly can’t wait to see where the future takes me.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned along my journey is to never give up on yourself or the things you really want. There are going to be moments when things don’t go as planned or happen as quickly as you hoped, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t going to happen! I’ve learned to keep showing up, trust the process, and remind myself why I started in the first place. Some of the best opportunities I’ve had came from continuing to push forward, even when I wasn’t sure what was going to happen next.
