Today we’d like to introduce you to Bam Rich.
Hi Bam, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Whew…The Nashville Soundz Party Band was founded based off filling in for another band!!! I’ll never forget…I was playing in a band and the leader had surgery and couldn’t perform so the club manager asked me did I have any bands in mind or could I throw a band together. I called a few homies and musicians I loved working with to see who was available and it just kinda started from there. The club was impressed with us being able to step in and put on a great show. After that trying to put together a consistent and strategic plan became our focus as a band. We wanted to be one of the most proficient bands in town.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not!!! But anything worth having has it’s ups and downs. The struggles were trying to find the right fit or consistent musicians or singers that fit the mold of what we were striving to do. Our goal is to keep everyone dancing and leaving with an experience of lifetime.
Sometimes trying to get people to believe in your vision can be hard when all they see is money. Which is ok but the longevity of a band is built off of consistency and productivity and hard work behind the scenes.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What we do? WE PARTY HARD!!!! We bring the party to you and take it to another level!!! We specialize in making events special in the form of just catering to the needs of the crowd and that’s based off reading the crowd.
I’m proud of the small steps we have made in the city and the growth to be able to grow within the little time we have been a unit. We have a residency in Nashville at bourbon street blues and Boogie Bar.
What sets us apart is the energy in the show. The determination to be the best band in town. To keep the energy so high that you dont want the party to end. To give a diverse show that reaches the hearts of people. We have a very large catalog of music and its sooooooooo diverse. So we can cater to any style of music.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Stay the course, keep going, keep pushing, keep moving, don’t let failure or hearing NO stop you from achieving your goal. Take the NO and learn why and work at it and become a better version of you.
