Hi Erin, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Behind the Veil was born from a love for creative expression and a passion that’s been part of who I am for as long as I can remember.
If you ask anyone who knows me, they’ll tell you I’m always the one taking photos or videos, documenting every little moment. Creating has always been my love language.
After planning my own wedding, I realized just how quickly the day flies by. Some of my favorite memories weren’t the perfectly posed photos, they were the quiet, candid moments in between. The happy tears before walking down the aisle, the laughs with friends, the little glances with my husband, and all the moments you don’t even realize are happening until they’re over.
That’s when the vision for Behind the Veil came to life.
My heart behind this business has always been simple: for couples to relive their wedding day just 24 hours later, tangibly feeling the emotions they experienced in those fleeting moments. While your photographer and videographer are capturing the big, beautiful moments, I’m there preserving everything in between, the moments you’ll never want to forget.
What started as a dream has become such a rewarding part of my life. Getting to serve couples on one of the biggest days they’ll ever experience is something I’ll never take for granted, and I’m so grateful for every opportunity, every couple who has trusted me, and every vendor who has supported me along the way.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Building a business from the ground up meant wearing every hat, marketing, editing, client communication, social media, finances, all while being a stay-at-home mom to two little ones.
There have been late nights editing after my kids went to bed, weekends away from my family to capture weddings, moments of comparison, and times I wondered if I should give up.
But every couple who trusted me with one of the biggest days of their lives reminded me why I started. Every wedding gave me more confidence, every challenge taught me something new, and every “yes” made all the hard work worth it.
Looking back, I’m grateful it wasn’t easy, because the difficult seasons shaped both me and Behind the Veil into what it is today!

At Behind the Veil, I specialize in wedding content creation, capturing the candid, behind-the-scenes moments that often go unnoticed on a wedding day. My goal is to preserve the in-between moments: the happy tears, the laughter, the quiet glances, and all the little details that make each wedding unique. Couples receive beautifully edited, vertical content within 24 hours so they can relive their day almost immediately.
What I’m most proud of is creating a stress-free experience for my couples. On such an important day, I want them to feel fully present while knowing someone is intentionally documenting the moments they’ll cherish forever. There’s nothing more rewarding than hearing a couple say they were able to relive emotions they didn’t even realize were happening in the moment.
What truly sets Behind the Veil apart is the turnaround time. While traditional wedding photos and videos can take weeks or even months to be delivered, my couples receive beautifully edited, ready-to-share content within 24 hours. They don’t have to wait to relive one of the biggest days of their lives, they get to wake up the next morning and experience those emotions all over again.
Beyond the quick delivery, I focus on the authentic, behind-the-scenes moments that often aren’t captured elsewhere. My goal is to complement the photographer and videographer, preserving the candid memories in a way that’s natural, emotional, and perfect for sharing with loved ones.
As a creative and storyteller, I also understand what resonates on social media. Every video is thoughtfully edited to feel timeless while remaining engaging and shareable, giving couples memories they’ll treasure and content they’re excited to post with family and friends.
At the heart of Behind the Veil is one simple mission: to help couples relive one of the best days of their lives through the moments they didn’t even know they needed captured!
What’s next?
My biggest goal is simply to continue serving more couples and helping them preserve one of the most meaningful days of their lives. I want to keep growing Behind the Veil organically, building relationships with incredible couples and wedding vendors, and continuing to create content that allows people to relive their wedding day almost instantly.
I’m looking forward to booking more weddings, refining my craft, and being part of even more love stories. Every wedding is unique, and I’m excited to continue creating a personalized experience for each couple while growing a business that I’m truly passionate about.
More than anything, I hope Behind the Veil becomes known for making couples feel seen, celebrated, and cared for, not just on their wedding day, but every time they look back on the memories we captured together.
