Hi Tony, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was at the crossroads in my life, feeling stuck trying to figure out what I was gonna do. I had given up on music two years prior and bounced around from Job to Jobone day my sister told me why would you keep trying things that you’re 50% at instead of doing what you’re 100% if you do something that you’re 100% at you have a high percentage of being successful that’s when I decide to give music another shot but this time I vowed to keep going until I became successful
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road at all It’s been rocky but through faith and perseverance I’ve found strength to keep pushing to get to the point of where I am now I just Recently Signed A production/management deal with Southern Signal Nashville & I now have Distribution with Virgin/Universal it’s been A long time coming but we’re just getting started! there’s more!!!!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m A singer songwriter and now also a producer I produced probably 50% of the new music that I have coming up. I’m mostly proud of being able to put together three different elements and make gold. I used to sing and write, but now singing writing and producing I couldn’t ask for more I feel accomplished. what sets me apart from other artists regardless of what I’m doing. I always remain myself when it comes to creating as long as I stick to who I am stick to being Tony Carpenter I’ll always be set apart.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I’ve taken plenty of risk like paying for studio time when I have bills due buying that outfit when I have a show, but I need a groceries chasing this dream is all about sacrifice, but like the saying goes, you can’t get something for nothing!
