Hi Jasmine Renee, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey began in 2021 during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. I was struggling emotionally and searching for the courage to keep moving forward. During that time, Joshua 1:9—“Be strong and courageous”—became a personal reminder that God was with me, even when I felt afraid or uncertain.
That experience inspired me to create Be Courageous by Jasmine Renee, a faith-based apparel brand designed to encourage women to walk boldly in their purpose. What started with T-shirts and encouraging messages has grown into the Be Courageous, Girl community—a space where women can connect, grow in their faith, support one another, and feel empowered to become who God has called them to be.
In 2026, I hosted the inaugural Be Courageous, Girl Brunch, bringing together more than 150 women for a day of faith, sisterhood, encouragement, and honest conversation. Seeing the event sell out and witnessing the impact it had on the women in attendance confirmed that this vision was bigger than apparel—it was becoming a movement.
Today, I continue building Be Courageous, Girl through products, events, gatherings, and meaningful community experiences. I also serve as a Development Manager and a high school cheer coach, roles that allow me to support organizations, mentor young women, and create opportunities for others.
My journey has not been perfect or easy, but every challenge has strengthened my faith and helped me understand my purpose more clearly. I am still growing, learning, and building, but I am grateful for how far God has brought me and excited about where He is leading me next.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. When I first started Be Courageous in 2021, I was in one of the darkest seasons of my life. I felt like my life was not where it was supposed to be, and I struggled with disappointment, comparison, hopelessness, and feeling as though I had fallen behind.
At one point, I wanted to take my own life. I felt overwhelmed by everything I was carrying and could not see how my situation would get better. However, God met me in that difficult place. My faith, my church community, and the reminder found in Joshua 1:9 helped me continue moving forward, even when I did not feel strong or courageous.
Starting the business did not immediately make everything easier. I still had to overcome fear, self-doubt, financial challenges, inconsistency, disappointment, and moments when I questioned whether the vision would truly grow. There were times when support did not come from the people I expected, sales were slow, and I had to continue believing in what God gave me even when I could not yet see the results.
I also had to learn that courage does not mean being fearless. Courage is choosing to keep going while you are still afraid, uncertain, or healing. Many of the messages I now share with other women were first messages I needed for myself.
Looking back, I can see that the difficult seasons were developing my faith, strengthening my character, and preparing me to serve other women. What began as my personal fight to keep going has grown into a community that encourages women to choose faith, purpose, sisterhood, and courage. My journey is proof that your darkest chapter does not have to be the end of your story.

We specialize in creating faith-centered products and experiences that remind women of who they are and what they are capable of. Our offerings include statement apparel, accessories, digital resources, community gatherings, and events designed to inspire personal growth, faith, confidence, and authentic connection. We are known for messages such as “Be Courageous, Girl,” “Courageous Girls Don’t Fold,” and “Be Strong and Courageous,” which are more than catchy sayings—they are reminders women can carry with them through every season of life.
What sets Be Courageous apart is the story and purpose behind the brand. It was created during a very difficult season in my own life, so the encouragement we share comes from a real place. I am not simply selling products; I am building what I once needed—a supportive community where women can feel seen, encouraged, prayed for, celebrated, and reminded that they do not have to navigate life alone.
I believe women can support one another without competition. There is room for all of us to grow, succeed, heal, and become everything God has called us to be. That spirit of genuine sisterhood is at the heart of everything we do.
One of my proudest moments was hosting the inaugural Be Courageous, Girl Brunch in 2026. More than 150 women gathered for a day filled with faith, honest conversations, inspiration, and sisterhood. The event sold out, but what meant the most to me was hearing how encouraged and connected the women felt afterward. That experience confirmed that Be Courageous, Girl is more than an apparel brand—it is becoming a movement.
I am also proud that the brand continues to grow without losing its original mission. Whether someone purchases a shirt, attends an event, joins our online community, or reads one of our encouraging messages, I want her to leave feeling stronger, more confident, and more courageous.
I want readers to know that Be Courageous, Girl is for the woman who may still be figuring things out but refuses to give up. It is for the woman rebuilding her confidence, strengthening her faith, pursuing her purpose, or simply needing a reminder that she is not alone. We are continuing to expand our products, events, resources, and opportunities for women to connect, and I am excited about what God is building through this brand.

I would like readers to know that it is never too late to begin again. Your life may not look the way you imagined it would, and your journey may include disappointment, delays, mistakes, or painful seasons, but those moments do not disqualify you from purpose.
Be Courageous was born during one of the darkest times in my life, and today it reminds me that God can use our most difficult experiences to create something meaningful. I am still growing, healing, learning, and becoming. I do not have everything figured out, but I have learned to keep moving forward, even when the next step feels uncertain.
I also want women to understand that courage does not always look loud or fearless. Sometimes courage is getting out of bed, trying again, asking for help, starting the business, leaving what no longer serves you, trusting God through uncertainty, or simply choosing not to give up.
My hope is that my story and the Be Courageous, Girl community remind women that they are seen, valued, capable, and never alone. There is purpose on the other side of the pain, and your current chapter is not the end of your story.
Most importantly, I want readers to know that there is still more ahead. I am excited to continue creating spaces, products, and experiences that help women strengthen their faith, build confidence, form genuine connections, and courageously become who God has called them to be.
