Community Highlights: Meet Samanta of Soulful Yoga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samanta.

Samanta, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey with yoga began during a time when I was searching for something deeper than physical fitness. What I found was a practice that helped me reconnect with myself, build resilience, and navigate life’s challenges with more presence and compassion. That experience completely changed the direction of my life.

Originally from Brazil, I became certified as a yoga teacher and later continued my education in the United States, including a specialization in prenatal and postpartum yoga. Along the way, I realized that what I love most isn’t simply teaching poses, it’s creating an experience where people feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Today, I offer both group classes and personalized one-on-one yoga sessions, all online serving students across the world, making it possible to connect with students wherever they are. Whether someone is completely new to yoga or has been practicing for years, my goal is to create classes that are accessible, intentional, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.

As both a mother and a lifelong student of yoga, I continue to grow alongside my students. I believe yoga isn’t about achieving the perfect pose, it’s about building a stronger relationship with yourself, one breath and one practice at a time. My mission is to help people move with more confidence, live with greater presence, and create space for lasting well-being in their everyday lives.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly, it hasn’t been a smooth road at all, but I wouldn’t change it.

Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve had to build my business while navigating major life transitions. Moving to a new country meant starting over, rebuilding my community, and creating a business from the ground up. More recently, becoming a mother has taught me how to balance caring for others while continuing to pursue my own purpose.

There have been moments of uncertainty, setbacks, and self-doubt, but each challenge has strengthened my resilience and deepened my appreciation for the practice of yoga. Yoga has been my anchor through every season of life, reminding me to stay present, adapt, and keep moving forward.

Those experiences have shaped the way I teach today. I understand that everyone walks into class carrying something different, and my goal is to create a space where people feel supported, encouraged, and empowered, both on and off the mat.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Soulful Yoga, I believe yoga is more than movement, it’s a practice of building strength, confidence, and connection from the inside out.

I offer both personalized one-on-one sessions and online group classes, making yoga accessible wherever my students are. Every class is designed with intention, whether the goal is improving mobility, building strength, reducing stress, supporting pregnancy and postpartum recovery, or simply creating space to reconnect with yourself.

One of the things that sets my teaching apart is my focus on purposeful progression. Rather than approaching every class as a standalone workout, I create thoughtfully designed sequences that allow students to build skills, confidence, and body awareness over time. I want people to experience real, lasting growth, not only in the poses they achieve, but in how they move, breathe, and feel in their everyday lives.

I’m especially proud of creating a welcoming environment where students feel supported, regardless of their experience level. Whether someone is stepping onto the mat for the very first time or looking to deepen an existing practice, my goal is to help them feel challenged, encouraged, and empowered.

Above all, I want people to know that yoga doesn’t require perfection or flexibility—it simply asks you to show up. My role is to guide that journey with knowledge, compassion, and intention.

What are your plans for the future?
I’m excited about continuing to grow Soulful Yoga into a space where people can find not only movement, but also connection, education, and lasting support in their wellness journey.

One of my biggest goals is to continue expanding my online offerings through thoughtfully designed group programs and personalized one-on-one sessions, making yoga accessible to people regardless of where they live. I’m also developing themed monthly practice series that allow students to build strength, confidence, and specific skills through intentional progression rather than isolated classes.

As my community grows, I’d love to collaborate with local businesses, wellness professionals, and organizations to bring yoga to even more people. I also look forward to creating workshops, special events, and educational content that inspires people to integrate yoga into their everyday lives, not just as exercise, but as a lifelong practice.

Above all, I’m excited to keep learning, evolving, and sharing what I’ve learned with others. I believe the best teachers are always students first, and I’m looking forward to growing alongside the community I’m building.
