Hi Save, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Born in Bologna and now based in Northern Italy, I’m an independent country artist whose musical career spans more than two decades. Since the early 2000s, I have performed extensively throughout Italy as a lead singer and frontman, developing a strong reputation for my stage presence and connection with live audiences.
Driven by a lifelong passion for American country music, I made a decisive artistic shift in 2019, choosing to focus exclusively on the genre. Since then, I’ve become a familiar presence at country dance events, festivals and live music venues, building a growing audience among Italian country music fans.
In 2022, I released my debut album, “Libero”, a project created with a charitable purpose and followed by a promotional tour that introduced my music to new audiences. “Libero” is composed of all songs by other country artists translated and adapted into Italian. The momentum continued throughout 2023 with a full calendar of live performances across the country.
My artistic growth reached another important milestone in 2025 with appearances at nationally recognized events such as Travagliato Cavalli, Fiera di Sant’Alessandro and the Valsassina Country Festival. During the same year, I released the singles “There Was This Girl” and “Let Christmas Never End”, this second is my first original composition, as well as the eight-track EP “Not Yet a Stallion, No Longer a Colt”.
Blending traditional country influences with modern americana sensibilities, I bring a distinctive European perspective to a genre deeply rooted in American culture. My performances are characterized by authenticity, heartfelt storytelling and a genuine respect for country music traditions.
On July 13, 2026, I released “Kiss Away My Ghosts”, a moving reinterpretation of Creed Fisher’s song, reaffirming my commitment to sharing honest and emotionally driven country music with audiences around the world.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Honestly, I wouldn’t say it was easy or difficult—it was simply a natural journey, the same journey that led me to country music in the first place. Once I realized I couldn’t keep making music outside the country genre, and at the same time couldn’t imagine my life without it, everything that followed felt completely natural, genuine, and authentic. So yes, you could even say it was easy. After all, even the challenges feel rewarding when you’re doing what you truly love.
The biggest challenge I’ve faced—especially here in Italy, where I live—has been a cultural one. Many people see country music as something tied to a culture that’s very different from our own, so they often assume the stories and the music itself don’t relate to them. In reality, that’s not true at all. If anything, our cultures have far more in common than most people realize. That’s why things are changing, and little by little country music is opening more and more doors.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My full-time job actually isn’t being an artist, singer, or songwriter. I have a very ordinary day job—I work in banking—and, to be honest, there’s nothing particularly exciting about it.
At the same time, I have two great passions that define who I am and shape my lifestyle every single day: music and horses.
I give both of them everything I’ve got, and I approach them with the highest level of dedication and professionalism because I love them so much that I could never settle for anything less.
So I’d rather not spend too much time talking about my day job. I’d much rather talk about the way I live these passions so intensely.
They’re actually the main reasons people know me. My love for both music and horses is endless, and whenever someone meets me—or runs into me again after a long time—the first things they ask about are always my music and my horses. They know I’m constantly on the move, whether it’s playing live shows, releasing new music, or heading out on another adventure with my buddy.
Without a doubt, the thing I’m most proud of in my life is my two wonderful sons, Francesco and Niccolò. In one way or another, I get to share both my love for music and my love for animals with them, and watching them grow into the people they’re becoming fills me with happiness.
I guess what I’m most proud of is the life I’ve built—a life where I get to fully embrace everything I love, everything I believe in, and the people I love.
And maybe that’s what truly sets me apart from everyone else.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
The very first person I have to thank is my father. From the time I was a kid, he passed on his incredible love for music to me, and probably even some of my musical talent. More than that, he has always been my mentor and my role model, both as a man and as a father.
Right alongside him is my family, who have always believed in me and supported me every step of the way. Their encouragement has never wavered.
I also have to thank my friends, who have never failed to show me their love and support throughout this journey.
A special thank you goes to my vocal coach and mentor, Carlotta Cortesi. She taught me everything I know about singing, but she gave me something even more valuable than technique. She taught me passion, determination, and the drive to keep pushing forward—qualities that have become the foundation of both my life and my music.
I’m also deeply grateful to Bad Smokers Records and to Federico Biondo. They’ve believed in me and in my music from the very beginning, supporting me, standing by my side, and following me through every project and every new idea. Even when deadlines seemed impossible, we always found a way to make it happen together.
Another heartfelt thank you goes to WCN Radio, Orianna Giust, and the entire team. As Italy’s first country music web radio station with a worldwide reach, they’ve been an incredible source of support and encouragement through every step of my journey.
Of course, I could never name every single venue, festival, event organizer, and promoter who believed in me from the very beginning. Over the years they’ve continued to welcome me back with the same trust, respect, and affection, and I’ll always be grateful for that.
Every one of these people deserves to be recognized—not only for everything they’ve done for me, but because they’re genuine friends. They’ve always encouraged me to be the very best version of myself. They never just told me what I wanted to hear; they were honest with me, even when it wasn’t easy. And I believe that’s exactly what inspires you to keep growing, keep improving, and keep giving everything you’ve got.
