Daily Inspiration: Meet Abigail Virginia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Abigail Virginia.

Hi Abigail, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was born in Springville, Alabama, where I grew up leading worship at a local church and practicing music every day. Adele was a huge inspiration to me because, like me, she had a naturally lower voice.

I really found my footing after moving away to attend the University of North Alabama. While there, I began posting covers online and writing songs in legendary studios like FAME. I met several songwriters along the way, and those connections eventually led me to move to Nashville.

Since moving to Nashville, I’ve had incredible opportunities, including appearing on FOX’s *I Can See Your Voice* and performing at Bonnaroo, Bridgestone Arena, the Bluebird Cafe, and many other iconic venues. I’ve also released several original singles and continue to grow as an artist and songwriter.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I moved away from home without knowing anyone or having connections in the music industry. I had to build a new community, learn how the industry worked, and create opportunities for myself from the ground up, all while working different jobs to support myself.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a Nashville-based singer-songwriter and content creator specializing in soulful, genre-blending music, honest storytelling, and engaging performance-driven content. I share original songs, creative covers, behind-the-scenes moments, and pieces of my journey as an independent artist.

I’m most proud of building my career from the ground up. I moved away from home without knowing anyone in the industry and created opportunities through performing, songwriting, and consistently sharing my work online. That journey has led me to perform at Bonnaroo, Bridgestone Arena, and the Bluebird Cafe, appear on FOX’s *I Can See Your Voice*, and build an online community of more than 500,000 followers across platforms.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect with people through authenticity. Whether I’m performing, writing a song, or creating content, I want people to feel like they’re getting to know the real person behind the music.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
