Hi Terrez, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Being the oldest child out of seven, you grow up sooner than others, and sometimes that creates a fearless leader by default, and this is something I’ve always appreciated. I’ve always been one to express my creativity every chance I get, and growing up, I would’ve never expected myself to hone in on and begin perfecting a passion-turned-hobby-turned-career choice. Being the oldest sibling out of seven has been part of what makes me the natural born leader I am. Upon graduating from Kenwood High school in my hometown of Clarksville, TN at 17, I enlisted in the Navy shortly after and became a sailor, and graduated from basic training all before my 18th birthday that year. That’s when I knew that no matter what I set my mind on, I could accomplish it with the right amount of dedication and motivation. From there, I went out and began sharing my talents with the world.
Fast forward to today, as a licensed Cosmetologist and a full-time student pursuing a nursing degree, I still devote time to sharing my creativity through a few hobbies I’ve developed and enhanced as time has progressed. Wig installs are my ultimate favorite hair technique, and when I feel the most liberated, when given full creative freedom. My mind is constantly running with ideas from makeup, wig styling, set design concepts, and as of lately I have begun approaching a new milestone in my music development process that I’m finally starting to hear the sound I’ve been relentlessly engineering over the last 4 years. I look forward to the experiences awaiting for me in the future and I am excited for the places my talents and craftsmanship will take me.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
After losing both of my grandmothers last year within 6 months of each other, a shift took place that essentially pushed me into overdrive mode because the busier I am, the less my mind is cluttered. Thankfully, I have the memories to reflect upon and cherish, but it has been an internal battle within itself. I keep everything so private about my life that you would think I have it all figured out and everything is all put together because I’m usually the strong one for everyone else and I have no choice but to be that for myself as well. This year has been about relearning to love what makes me, me and cherishing the love received from those who genuinely enjoy having me around and has my best interests at heart whether that’s friends or family. The goal is to ultimately secure a location where I can peacefully create and bring my creativity to the forefront while having the space to do so, and allowing clients the ability to be COMFORTABALE while receiving their luxury service. Sometimes I feel as if I’m lost or losing sight of what I’m working towards but as I take a step back and begin to appreciate the gifts I possess, I remember my purpose here and that is to make people feel like they’re superstars shining in their own spotlight for everyone to see.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At the core of everything I do is helping people feel confident. I’ve always been drawn to beauty and creativity, and social media became an outlet where I could share that passion with others. I love showing transformations because I know firsthand how much a new look can change the way someone feels about themselves.
I’m proud that I’ve been able to create a platform that showcases not only my work but also my journey. Every post represents growth, consistency, and my willingness to keep pushing myself creatively. What makes me different is that I don’t try to fit into one box—I ultimately do what I want, and when I want. Life is short! I embrace versatility, authenticity, and creating content that makes people stop scrolling and feel inspired. You only have one life to live so why live it being boring or conforming to blend in with everyone else. It’s okay to STAND OUT. It’s okay to be DIFFERENT and UNIQUE. If you want to wear hot pink eyeshadow with a bright baby blue undereye, WEAR IT. OWN IT, and watch the world follow suit in stride.

I’ve always said I’d love to work on a production set whether that’s for movies, a TV series, music video, etc, I want in. I just genuinely love what I do when regarding the entire field of cosmetology. Hair is my life essentially and I adore every second of it.
